The 10th anniversary edition plays just like regular TTR but the presentation and quality of pieces has gone up a level. Artwork on the much larger board, train cards and tickets has been amped up and the train pieces are specially moulded for each colour, making it a treat to play.

This game comes in a wonderful tin with smaller tins inside holding the unique and custom train pieces. For a fun and exciting game already, this edition adds heritage quality. Good job.The product arrived carefully packed and on time.

Really fun game and the 10th aniversary edition is great. Bigger map and more detailed trains that fit into their own metal tins. These features really add to the game.
Not only is the whole game set upgraded with a larger board, much flasher looking trains and reworked card art but this includes the main expansions (1910 and Mega cities) for the US map as well.This means you are not just getting a really nice version of this classic game, but it's additional mission expansions too (not extra maps though).The 'Globetrotter' mission card is a superb addition in itself and helps balance everyone going for 'the longest rain' with another way of earning a game end-bonus for those who prefer more, shorter routes.
Games should always be good quality it makes them extra fun. This is good quality board and pieces, and includes the 1912 expansion so it's reasonable value. It terms of the game it's very easy to learn takes about 30mins to play and works best with 4 or 5 but can be played happily with less. I prefer the Europe version but it's a little. Ore complicated this is simplistic which makes it more approachable for less serious players such as grandparents!
Game came fast and as we remember. Was nervous with whole game board not on display in photo but it was in excellent shape. Came in time for holidays!
Well worth the price! Comes with the 1910 expansion pack. The board is bigger, the cards are normal size, and the train cars are great! Love that they each have their own design!
Literally one of the best family board games I've ever seen. Everyone can learn it quickly, and with the 10th Anniversary edition you get a lot of variations you can play together. Also, this version is just gorgeous, with a larger board than the regular version, and more detailed pieces. Makes you want to bust it out and play. I've also played the PC video game, and that's great for solo, but when you want to hang out with friends or family, NOT get too bored to finish, and still like each other when the game is over (unlike Monopoly, Risk, etc) this is your go-to game.
I got this for my husband for Christmas. We love the game. It is available with many maps, but his version comes with tins for the train cars and the cars are more detailed than the regular version. I would recommend this game for the family game night.
