Berlin does bring a tiny new twist with the underground single-car-piece routes, for a nice quick fun TTR.

This is a very good "city" version of Ticket to Ride. I didn't notice the different scoring for subway cars the first time I played, but that's minor. This is almost like the city version of Rails and Sails, since you have to manage two types of train cars. Would recommend!

Nice short variation of Ticket to Ride cities game.
Granddaughter age 8 loved the game it was easy to play and didn't take long to play and was educational
Players have streetcars and subway cars to place on the board. Streetcars are more expensive to place but more points are scored for placing subway cars than for placing street cars. I liked the challenge of placing different transportation modes, but my guests wanted to be able to swap the subway cars for streetcars similar to the way that ships and trains can be swapped in "Rails & Sails." I will probably create "house rules" for them. Thus, I will have two games in one box.
We have purchased this ticket to ride map for Christmas to play with adults and grandchildren as we all enjoy playing the various maps we currently have.
Ticket to Ride is my absolute favourite series of board games. And while I like the regular versions more than the mini city versions, TTR Berlin is a great addition. Very simple to play if you're a newbie, some interesting complexity if you're a hardcore TTR fan. I personally think it's one of the better city TTRs, although San Francisco is still my favourite. My only minor complaint is that, since I believe this is set in the 80s, I think they've really missed a trick by not exploring the reality of Berlin at that time. They could have done West Berlin on one side of the board (which is really what this is), and East Berlin on the other side (not part of this map). Still, I loved playing it. Highly recommend!
Great game for kids and if you want to play a game that doesn't take a long time.
