Whilst this kettle isn't electric, and so has a fair amount of thermal loss, there are steps to reduce this like pre heating it.The 90 degree pour angle is brilliant as one doesn't need to "get used" to where the water will hit the grounds - its always directly under the spout.The quality it flawless. It has a surprising weight to it for only a 300ml kettle. The handle doesn't heat up too drastically, and the ability to have a thermometer put through the hole in the lid is a wonderful thought.I was also able to arrange to pick this up to save on the delivery cost - which was easily refunded. Top quality service!Highly recommended.

I didn't think that I needed to use the goose-neck kettle until I got one. I was using a tea-set kettle before and this is so much better.

This was the key element for me getting a great pour-over coffee. So easy to control the water and get a great result. Note that the 300mL is really 300mL, i.e. when filled to the brim! For me it means I have this thing almost to the top. If you plan to use this with hot-water, consider the 600mL may better for you. But the 300mL is nice and small and very easy to handle.
