At last PaH stock a Guinea Pig treat that doesn't look like it should be hanging in a bird cage.Guinea pigs shouldn't be given seeds, not in the way most honey slathered treats have them, & though the description says this is a seed treat there aren't whole seeds. My animals reject most of the treats recommended for them, and I know some that shouldn't be recommended for them at all so don't buy, but these are very popular. In the same way you shouldn't buy muesli style food for GPs and get pellets instead, this snack is so much better for them than the birdseed style stuff.

Hung one of these in the cage by the water bottle and literally within seconds I heard the scraping of little teeth! By the morning it was half gone so as a treat it wouldnt last them long but they did really tuck in and I felt it was healthier than a lot of the sweet treats you can buy.

Our guinea pigs love these. It takes a while for them to get bits off which is great because they don't finish them too fast and it keeps them entertained.

Over buying another treat like this which isnt actually the best for guineas id rather not get that one again id rather get the vitakraft ones that have the popcorn on them or something. Didnt like the look of it and my piggy hasnt really chowed down on it either. No i dont buy them all the time its a rare treat she has them

Yummy but not plastic free
16 June 2021

The buns adored the food but I was dismayed to see that the stick on which the yumminess was afixed was plastic. Not for the buns but for the environment. A natural twig base would be better.

Yummy for bunnies but not so good for their tummi
19 May 2022

My 2 buns absolutely love these. I actually chop the sticks into small pieces and hand feed them as a treat once or twice a day. My only concern is that they contain a lot of seeds which are not good for rabbits digestive systems and which is why they only get small pieces and why I wouldn't recommend that rabbits are allowed access to them all the time.
