I love Tom Ford and to be given a gift to try I can't thank you enough! I wanted to wear this and give a real good review on not only the scent but the sustainability and a big thing for me when I choose a perfume is do I love it and does anyone else notice? This is important because I will mention this in several areas. I do love the simplicity and chic label that can make this look stunning sitting on a woman's glam vanity because at 165$ a bottle ( based off Sephoras website) who is not going to display this right where everyone can see this right? So if u display on your dresser man or woman this looks stunning and sophisticated and just like it is - expensive! Talking about price the bottle itself contains 1.7 fluid ounces at the price of the 165$ on Sephoras website. As always with every item where you purchase items can fluctuate price but on average this is about 165$. Not only is the packaging complelty dripping in gold the smell is beautiful. It is not an overpowering smell that would make me dizzy and wish I never sprayed it- it's quite the opposite it's just the right amount if u give it a few sprays to detect the scent. The most prominent notes in this perfume is Italian lemon. Oak and Amber that I can detect and together they combine deliciously. What does this smell like? In my opinion is like an island woodsy smell like being on the salty beach and I don't mean the kind of products that smell like self tanner and sunscreen because those are not flattering scents in my daily perfume! This does smell like an island breeze and a forest walk all in the same bottle in a flattering way! To really test the sustainability and whether or not others picked up on these notes I decided to save my review for after two big events my errand running day ( where I am absolutely everywhere- post office grocery store bank many places that are compact and large crowds) were people may notice my perfume and Easter Dinner at my house. I am not let down one bit by this perfume because officially the 2nd perfume choosing criteria has been met. At my local post office and my local Giant Eagle I had two different woman compliment my perfume and inquire about it. Then Easter dinner at least 3 family members had done the same! I feel like I won the lottery especially when that same night my husband wrapped his arms around me said what a wonderful holiday he had with me and turned and said my gosh you smell so good! SOLD! Add to cart! Now I also had him smell the bottle and wear it to work guys aren't as open as woman to ask what scent your wearing or to tell each other they smell good so the world may never know on that test but overall my husband loved the way it smells on me and him. I do believe our natural pheromones enhance smells to make same scents smell just slightly different on everyone. Last point i wanted to make is the smell lingers on you all day it does not wear off immediately or within a few hours that night you could still smell it as freshly as when i sprayed it on myself. Thats very valuable criteria in purchasing the right perfume. You wont use as much and it will last a long time if u dont have to respray every so often. Overall this perfume is a hit I do love when my husband wears it I love the smell of it on myself and I feel sophisticated luxurious and expensive when I wear it so what is there to say negative about it? Only the expensive price tag its hard to shell the money out but in comparison to the market and perfume smells I like I rather pay the expensive price tag for this fabulous perfume than get a more affordable one and does not compare in scent to this one. I want to smell and feel sexy and love what I wear. I don't want to smell like cotton candy , my grandma's house or a floral bouquet. After trying Tom Fords Costa Azzura I have to say I want to smell like a summer beach with forest trees to give me shade. I definitely think this is worth the price tag and I don't go through perfumes quickly so I would definitely repurchase this once my gifted bottle is done! If your looking for a great unisex scent that makes you feel beautiful smells delicious is sophisticated flattering and lasts all day this is a great choice and I highly recommend to anyone considering thank you (please excuse the little trying to grab everything in my short video lol)

The fragrance feels diurnal, earthy, exotic, marine, mature, mild, modern, salty oceanic, playful, resinous, slightly smoky, special, unique, versatile, woody, and very pleasant. Fresh, woody aquatic scent worthy of your attention. Also, one of the rare entries in the otherwise lovely Tom Ford "blue bottle/Private Blend" line that's not a familiar variation of the citrusy-watery trend. A clean, soft, semi-powdery aquatic top that eventually leads to a lightly woody drydown. A very evocative scent that transports one to a European beach, with young lovers wearing white basking about barefoot on an overcast day, with the coming-and-going seafoam revealing curious bits of driftwood that each have a story to tell. Genuinely lovely, and the standout of this line in my opinion. Somewhat weak longevity and projection sadly. But most with the palette and resources to seek out this pricey scent would likely know better than to squander it on a sweaty-hot summer day or in the winter.

I?m one of the biggest Tom Ford perfume fans. I love that TF perfume is very unique and sexy. My favorite is Noir, Black Orchid and Ombre leather. I love them because they are smoky, deep, musky, oudy and has something so sexy and unforgettable. At first it's a warm lemon and green cypress, but after a few hours dries down to the amber and slightly flowery base that lasts forever! It gives the feeling of Tuscan sunshine by the coast without being artificial or one-note. Because it's a parfum, its very strong and definitely stays noticeable on you, your hair, your clothes, and the room you sprayed it in, no matter how gently you spritz. But if you think Black Opium is too much for daytime, then you might think Costa Azzurra is a more nighttime ?sexy? fragrance as well. The more I smell it (after it?s mellowed), the more I enjoy the scent?it?s strangely addictive in that way. I find it helps to know the kinds of fragrances people like the most, so you can tell if you share similar tastes. Fragrance notes I enjoy the most are: fireplace smoky, citrus, green, amber, and vanilla. (In general, I enjoy more ?masculine? scents, (whatever that is worth) and I identify as a cisgendered woman. I love this fragrance. It says unisex and I use it (and it's one of my favorites to wear) but it Definitely has a more masculine scent. So if you're a woman who only wants to smell like flowers or sweet stuff, this is not the one for you. That being said i haven't found anyone who dislikes it. It smells like MONEY. But the most important part for me is that the scent doesn't warp or fade much over time. 6 hours after applying I can still smell it on me, It's everything. My first thought upon smelling this fragrance is that the notes are very musky and woody. The citrus in it is very subtle to me, I almost wish that the citrusy tones were stronger. The initial spray is strong and captivating, but not too strong that it is overwhelming. The lingering scent lasts long, hours after the initial spray, and I love the warm notes that follow it. I'm not totally convinced on the sea/ocean/Mediterranean marketing for this fragrance due to its more woody/earthy tones, but I still like it. While I think this scent is maybe more traditionally masculine, I think its unisex marketing fits well. I can totally wear this out still, and in fact I'm enjoying this alot.
