I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

I've been increasingly using Beauty Affairs over some of the other e-commerce websites like Look fantastic and Strawberry net. Not only are they comparable on price their customer service blows the others out of the water. As soon as you have an issue that requires customer service to be, involved you notice the huge difference. Beauty Affairs went to lengths to resolve an issue where I purchased the incorrect skincare product while on offer. The process of exchanging it, even though the product wasn't on offer anymore, was very easy and definitely far better than my experience with other sites.

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

I just have to take a moment to give a shout-out to the team over Beauty Affairs and this awesome little (perhaps not so little :)) company. EVERY time I place an order, it's always perfect. Great deals and prices, great communication, super-fast delivery, great range of GENUINE products. I can't even tell you what their customer service is like because I've never had need of it before! Metallique, where have you been all my life? How have I not noticed and appreciated you for all these years? I picked up a sample of Metallique sometime soon after its release in 1999, and I remember not being impressed by it.. but I can't help but think now, did I even actually smell it then? I couldn't have! Wearing Metallique today I'm IN LOVE! It is somehow harshly metallic in scent as well as being smoky, boozy and addictingly vanilla. Officially the notes are aldehydes, white flowers, bergamot, pink pepper, ambrette, balsam, and sandalwood. It is discordant and it is harsh, but it captivates my brain and envelopes my heart in its freezing warmth. Am I being dramatic? Yes, I am. This fragrance is dramatic though! It smells so metallic, you could almost taste it. Think of keeping an old-school canteen type aluminum spoon in your mouth. It's very bright and sunny in hot weather. But now that it's cooler, this baby is so shy and dainty. I almost don't recognize her. No wild side, no commanding attention, she's just a pretty little lady sitting on the very edge of my skin with zero projection. This is the absolute most affordable of Tom Ford's but in no way is it cheaply made.

It's a perfume and marketed to women but I think it's more unisex and love how it last and lingers all day long. I love that its unisex but it would be nice if they offered a more edgier, darker version of this clean scent. Metallique is the perfect name for this fragrance. The smell is a sharp powdery one that dries down to some soft. Almost baby fresh but more mature. It's a very complex scent and always gets compliments from random people in public

I first received a sample of this a little over a year ago in one of Sephora's fragrance sampler beauty offers. I remember not thinking much of it when I first sprayed it (to be fair, it was likely because I was eager to try them all at one), and it took a few weeks before I tried it again. Definitely try this out before investing in a bottle!
