This device does away with the need for c clamps and the need to remove brake pads. Merely slip in place where the rotor would otherwise be, and expand. Leave the brake fluid reservoir open and turn the swivelling handle.

Easy to use, good quality and strong. Made the job easy, I was able to push back the brake piston in less than a minute. Do remember that you should first open the brake fluid cap in the engine bay, and drain excess fluid if any. Pushing back piston can increase the brake fluid quantity above the max level or even spill as fluid gets pushed back as well.

I'm really happy with this tool as it's great for spreading multi piston calipers evenly. These tools are priced well and are of very good quality in comparison to the cheaper amatuerish products. Item was dispatched promptly and arrived within 2 days. Thanks SCA for bringing us a product that can be used reliably, every time.

It works... Just not as easy as you think it might. A fair bit of elbow grease is required (the handle is a bit too small, your hands will start to hurt a bit after the first set of pads)Still a reasonably good tool for the job
Works well - very handy , much better than the older single spreader type . If you do your own pads this is a worth while purchase
Tool was well priced, good quality & reputable brand & even though it is probably best suited to twin piston Brembo or similar calipers, It made light work of even 4 piston Brembo calipers on a VF Redline.Clamp the brake line, Crack the bleed nipple & push it 2 @ a time & the other 2 remain.. If you don't crack the bleed nipple, compressing 2 will push the other 2 further out which no-one wants..
This tool makes life so much easier. No stuffing about with G clamps. Easy to use and does the job very well. They a built to last too. I recommend this tool.
Almost impossible to push back a dual piston set. Have to push pistons individually
Straight out of the packet it was useless and wouldn’t close completely. Tool was binding when trying to wind it. Disassembled the tool and found the alignment of the forcing screw and the body was incorrect. I had to enlarge the hole in the body where the forcing screw goes in to create clearance due to the misalignment. After repair it works to its design intent. Such a simple design so not sure how the factory managed to stuff it up
Bought it specifically for my GR Yaris as it is the first car I have changed pads on with opposed type callipers and all my existing tools are not suitable for this. Does more than what it says on the box with a little bit of thought. I have 4 piston opposed calipers and the box says it can only do 2 piston opposed calipers. This is true out of the box but does not take much thinking to do 4 or more piston calipers. Add 2 pieces of flat steel and now you can do as many pistons as you like. I did not even need to do this in the end. I just used the edges of the old pads.I was dreading having to change opposed caliper pads, but this turned out to be the fastest and easiest pads I have ever changed with the right tool adapted to suit.
