Loaded nachos are something I’d been really missing as part of my low carb/tomato allergy diet. These chips gave that punch of acidic flavor that I’ve been missing from not having tomato. They are a bit on the spicy side and quite salty- which I find perfect for a true “junk food” feeling. The best part is how much protein they have! I make a mixture of ground beef or bison and riced cauliflower plus some shredded zucchini and mushrooms. I use taco spices when cooking the mixture. I add lime juice and cilantro to some Greek yogurt plus shredded cheese and mild hot sauce to top my nachos. They chips are great crunched up as a topping on my meal. As an athlete, it's so important to hit my protein intake goals, but oftentimes, it's hard to get protein from "whole food sources", such as meat, eggs, dairy, etc. Sometimes, I need a convenient option to take on-the-go, and while I love protein bars, in the hot D.C. summer weather, those aren't always a realistic choice either, as they can melt in the sweltering sun. Quest Chips are a great savory alternative - these kind of taste like knockoff Takis, with a spicy, tangy kick. The chips are also nice and crunchy and not overly grainy like some other protein chips out there. No, they don't taste exactly like a tortilla chip (hence the "tortilla-style" in the name) but they're the most similar replica I've found so far, which is impressive given the fact that the ... No, they don't taste exactly like a tortilla chip (hence the "tortilla-style" in the name) but they're the most similar replica I've found so far, which is impressive given the fact that the main ingredient is a protein blend. For one bag, there's 140 calories and a whopping 20 grams of protein (1g more than some of their other flavors)! And with only 5g of fat and carbs per bag, the macros on these things are pretty unbeatable. Unlike their Quest bars, there's not an insane amount of added fiber through soluble corn fiber, which actually might make these more digestible for some people. The only knock that I have regarding this product is its high price point: you can get an 8-pack on the Quest website for $22.99, which comes out to around $2.87 a bag, which is pretty pricey. I've seen them on sale at other grocery stores for as cheap as $2/bag, and I think you can occasionally get them in larger packs/bags for less. I'm more of a fan of some of their other flavors, such as their Nacho Cheese or Loaded Taco, but this is still a good pick, especially if you like Takis. Overall, this is a fun protein product, and certainly something that I would buy again in the future when it goes on sale!

Lime is a great zip in this cheep, but overall they ae a tab spicier than I would like to experience. flavor! QUEST Chips offer a high protein, crispy snack that is close enough to a real chip to satisfy. Awesome as a lunch protein paired with a garden salad or just a few handfuls of veggies. While hiking I like to port a baggie of fresh spinach, cut mushrooms, celery, sweet peppers & baby tomatoes and eat that interchangeably while on the move or resting during a hike. The sodium intake is great to have for those long hikes, just place chips in a safe section of your hiking bag to make sure they do not get pulverized while you're on the trail! These are hands down the absolute best chili lime chips I’ve ever had! I mean I’ve tried everything chili lime. Sun chips, Doritos, Lays, Ruffles, Late July etc. I absolutely love that these have more of a lime tang than that weird artificial southwest chili taste that everyone else uses. I legit buy these every week and they are the perfect snack to get me through my afternoon. The added bonus is that you don’t have to feel guilty about indulging in a bag of chips! Eat them plain, on a sandwich, as a side with a salad. It doesn’t matter … they’re perfect. My 2nd fave would be the BBQ chips. Back when these first came out I thought the Salt n Vinegar were pretty darn good as well. I a actually prefer these chips over regular however they are a bit pricey and Quest ... Quest Nutrition Tortilla Style Protein Chips in Chili Lime flavor offer a tasty and satisfying snack option for those looking to increase their protein intake without sacrificing flavor. The crunchy texture and bold chili lime seasoning provide a delicious alternative to traditional chips, making them perfect for dipping or enjoying on their own. With each bag containing a solid amount of protein, they can be a great addition to post-workout nutrition or a midday snack. However, some might find the seasoning a bit intense, so it’s best for those who enjoy a zesty kick in their snacks.
On a high protein diet, decided to try. 1. The price is excessive for the product. It's a bag of chips. (1 bag is $2.50 approx) 2. These do have a little heat to them. I like them! I do recommend as a treat every now and again, because 19.99 for 8 small bags of chips - is not realistic. I like the product and initally wanted to give 3 stars - removing 2 for price, but did not feel that it was fair to the product itself. Suppliers need to rethink pricing strategy to increase sales.
The quantity and size is sufficient20 grams of protein!! ✨ FLAVOR: 8/10Those are super spicy so much so that I wasn’t able to eat them before. Normally, I don’t review things but this one I’m going to leave one for. I bought these at Target and was super excited to try them. I haven’t ate chips in over two months due to a lifestyle change. Well, I’ve had a total of three bags over the last few days and nothing has come of it UNTIL…. Two days ago I woke up in full body hives. I don’t have food allergies so I don’t check labels or what things are made from. Bad, yes. Like I said though, I don’t have any known allergies to foods or processed food ingredients. Now, when I say full body, I mean FULL body. They were even in my mouth. I took Benadryl, prescription allergy medicine and covered my body head to toe in Cortisone cream and calamine lotion. It still itched so incredibly bad. I swore I was experiencing ... MoreNormally, I don’t review things but this one I’m going to leave one for. Now, when I say full body, I mean FULL body. They were even in my mouth. I took Benadryl, prescription allergy medicine and covered my body head to toe in Cortisone cream and calamine lotion. It still itched so incredibly bad. I swore I was experiencing chicken pox but I’ve already had them so that surely wasn’t it. The day before I woke up with the hives, I ate these chips for the first time. The hives finally started to subside two days later. Then randomly last night I was hit with a pain so sharp under my ribs that it knocked the wind out of me and I was rushed to the emergency room via ambulance for not being able to breathe. The pain was so intense. The EMS team and doctors thought I was having a heart attack. I broke my hand some years ago and that pain wasn’t no where this intense. I’d rather go through breaking both hands at the same time than feel that pain again. It’s the next day now and I cannot get rid of the gas buildup and heartburn that’s come along with these chips. I normally do not have such reactions to anything spicy so I didn’t even know what was happening. The few times I have had heartburn, it was nothing like this at all. Tums clears it right up but Tums couldn’t even calm this burn down to a less miserable amount. I can’t even pass gas in either direction to relieve this pain. I, personally, do not recommend these. I was so excited to finally have chips but yet I was met with lots of suffering and unnecessary hospital bills. And it finish off my experience, explosive diarrhea. I wasn’t sure I wanted to include this but at this point, I might as well. I loved the flavor and the texture of the chips but my body can not handle what I also find in this bag. My husband has ate these same chips and was met with intestinal pain as well. We will never buy these or any product from this brand again. Would honestly rate with zero stars if possible.
I LOVE these QUEST protein chips. They are deliciously flavored and have the same texture as Doritos but are slightly thinner. The portion size per bag is small so sometimes I eat two bags in one sitting. These are available in multiple flavors so I have a variety to choose from when I am following a low-carb diet. My favorites are the Hot & Spicy and the Sour Cream and Onion. I recommend trying them all to determine your personal preference. They do not cause any unpleasant side effects as there are no sugar alcohols in them. In my opinion, these are one of the most perfect snacks. You can two bags at once without any guilt. I hope Netrition continues to offer the variety of flavors and any new flavors that QUEST decides to manufacture.
