It's set up about 20-30m from the router and connects without an issue and after more than a week, have not had the network drop even once.

couldn't be happier, I got it because the built-in adapter in my work laptop gets only 1-2 WiFi bars in my home office corner, with the TP-Link it's full reception, resulting in a much quicker connection to router at a confirmed 1.2Gbps (on 5 GHz) and lower latency.

Apart from a small undocumented hiccup in the setup (if it doesn't connect, plug it in a different USB port). This is a great way to get good strong wifi on my desktop.
It can recognize just about every network on my street, but cannot connect to a single one. I spent 3 hours troubleshooting it with no success.
This device works worse than the cheap Chinese knock-offs, it has less bars, so less range.
The TP link unit arrived next day as scheduled. No problems installing or setting up and it works perfectly upstairs. A great improvement on speeds in comparison to the mains plugs used before.

Great little unit. Plug it in and the driver setup runs from its own drive in my computer. I get the full 1200 speed and wifi 6. I can even game with it. Very happy with purchase.
