Colour night vision sadly means two small flood lights turning on, I assumed these filmed in colour in the dark, like the infrared black and white night vision does. Nope. Bright lights! Not discreet.

Pros: Easy to install works with Tapo App on Smart phone and in Live View. Good 2K quality from video.Cons: The jury is still out on this one, they advertise the fact that "It Works With Alexa" . Ok the Alexa App does see the cameras on Amazon Fire Tablet HD 10" 11 gen but it states that the device does not support live view. Looking for a fix with Tapo, but they do not make easy to communicate with them. No online chat, just waiting for a response from email. Also many hidden menus within menus with no detailed instructions on what they do or what one should do>

There is no spare battery even if you want to buy to replace it immediately like ring stick up, have to uninstall the camera to recharge the battery and back to install.Missing some motion detection. If you play the recorded clips you may think it's Charlie Chaplin's movie. People moving fast and unusual.The subscription is based on each camera not all like ring or other companies. You have to pay for each cam separately which is terrible ! For each cam separately? Really ? Pros: -The cameras do not need a power source. Batteries last up to 180 days. -Easy to configure and install. -Good smartphone app-Inexpensive-Works well alongside indoor Tapo cameras -Impressed by the colour image in night Vision mode-Effective motion detection-Instant alerts on detection -Cloud video storage available at extra cost. I haven’t bothered with that as the small hub that plugs into to your broadband router stores all the video on a microSD card.Cons: Needs to be installed somewhere inaccessible/unreachable as the cameras are easy to physically remove - handy for battery recharging but also would be stealable …. Although you would have perfect video of who did it, stored on the card in the hub.
Really pleased with the camera's. Easy set up via the Tapo app. Not so pleased with Very for a price drop on the item by £70 the day after item arrived. complained but Very wouldn't price match. Just told me to return item and re-order, but found they'd removed the product to stop me from doing this. So I've marked it down for value.
Only just bought this,found it very easy to install.camera picture very clear. Lots of options on it like alarm ,light settings. still playing with it to find best settings for us. Find this better than ring camera as you can us a sd card .
Easy to install and works well although detection range is limited.
