Performance:great performanceGreat seller, super fast delivery, well packed, recommended.One side note to the product, the internal fan is noisy and disturbing if you sit near the device or its in a place like bedroom. Haven't found 10gb switch without fan. If the noise is not a problem this is a very good device. It's also unmanage so no headach with settings (unless you need managed then this is not for you).

A simple but effective megabit ethernet switch

It's basically a dumb ethernet switch that requires no setup and appears to work well. If you are setting up a relatively simple network and don't need a more complex programmable switch that it is reliable and good value. I have had it running for a week so far with no problems at all.

Pros: Seems to function well as a switch. My speed tests between two 10Gb ports were the same as the Netgear I wanted to replace. I plugged in two 10Gb, three 2.5Gb and two 1Gb devices which were all seen instantly at the correct speeds. I can't comment on reliability as I didn't leave it in place for very long - see the bad points.Cons: It's noisy, very noisy. It's cooled by one 40mm fan that spins at up to 6800 rpm. What makes it worse is that the noise isn't constant as the fan speed changes with load. This is a known problem (one owner cut a hole in the top of the case so he could use a 120mm fan) but TPLink tech support won't admit it. Not surprising as it would then need fixing. I'm going to investigate replacing the fan without abusing the case too much.....

excellent switch. Providing multi-gigabit switching capacity as described in the promotional literature. Also relatively well priced.I would happily buy another (if needed) or recommend.

All ports are 10GB, an affordable alternative to the mega priced managed switches that do not quite meet the number of ports you need.A great addition to a mac studio, or Blackmagic hyperdeck 4k pro for quick transference of footage with out having to plugging SSDs into your mac with an adapter.

Switch speeds seem to be ok and I have not had any issues though it has only been operating for one week. Wow though is this thing loud. Like can hear it in the next room loud. Sounds like a drone flying all the time and it varies in speed constantly so I keep imagining a drone is flying around the room. Transfer speeds seem to be good and stable. Did I mention how loud the fan is ?...

I bought this 10G switch to pair with the recently released TP-Link AXE16000 10G router and a sonnet tech solo 10G at my desktop. Insertion of the unmanaged switch did not significantly impact my bandwidth in speed tests and has proven to be reliable so far. The link from the router to the desktop is about 75 feet of CAT6a.I have tried most major brands, and for simple and reliable installations, TP-Link has really delivered with recent products. Very happy they are now supporting 10G.

So far I like it. But it has a variable fan that seems to vary between mildly annoying to absolutely obnoxious, and it varies between them non-stop. I'm not even using it heavily, and it sounds like the fan is under the impression that I am running a data center. Fan seems to run even when not in use. SUPER annoying in a quiet office.If you are considering one of these, get a noise reducing rack cabinet unless you are planning to put it out with the petunias.
