Deficiency should only arise through lack of sufficient sources in the diet, or through problems with the body's capacity to absorb and use zinc.The recommended daily intake of zinc is 10mg.Excessive zinc consumption can have toxic effects, or could lead to anaemia. Do not take more than 25mg total zinc intake per day unless under specific medical advice. In case of doses above 50mg per day, about 5mg per day of additional copper should be considered.

I read somewhere that this particular type of zinc is superior in terms of absorption, so I bought it to try. I'm sure the quality and ingredients are excellent. However, the flavor is very metallic and not very palatable. It helps to mix it into food. It needs refrigeration, so not very transportable. I think it's a good product to have at hand when one starts to feel under the weather. It gives one's immunity a boost!

I really like this Ionic Zinc with trace minerals. It is a completely flavorless, clear/ no color supplement. I add 1.25 droppers to our Orange Juice every morning along with liquid Vitamin D, liquid Ionic Iron, and a liquid lung health. We have had no upset stomach issues with this combination. I will definitely purchase again. I took a close up of the label so you can review all trace mineral ingredients.
