I'm new to stainless cookware after using cast iron, and opted to get this skillet vs more expensive brands. I was very impressed after my first time using today, I was able to make fried eggs with no problem. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking. Hopefully this pan will hold up well over time, it appears to be a solid product.

I purchased this pan and noticed a few things right away that are a bit deceptive and confusing. I felt they should be shared.1. The pan is 12” but has a very small base. It’s probably not worth upgrading if you already have the 10”. My other brand pans have larger bases on their 12” pan.2. The specifications say oven safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. The slip in the original package says oven safe up to 350. Which is it?Aside from the limited benefits of this pan, the quality seems ok.

Pan discolored after first use but a cleaning with barkeepers friend cleaner brought it almost back to original condition. The pan was not used at a high heat as performs well at lower heat settings.

Hope tramontina doesn't remove my review again! This doesn't feel like a 12 inch fry pan at all, its base is as big as a 10 inch. I was able to fit as many patties on this as I was able to fit onto my 10 in steel calphalon fry pan. The flared edges make up most of the fry pan, which defeats the purpose of having a 12 inch. This pan also took much longer to heat up than my calphalon, and that's not even 18/10 steel. I have loved the quality of the tramontina's cannisters, so I decided to give their cookware a try, but I feel really disspointed in the useless design and quality. If I could return this, I would, even with the sale price.
This stainless steel fry pan has worked beautifully right out of the box. It has quickly become a workhorse in my kitchen. The key is to cook at medium heat or lower to achieve the desired browning. No need to cook high as you would with cast iron. Buy this fry pan!
I love this pan. I was expecting a big learning curve with stainless steel (switching away from teflon bc I got tired of constantly replacing), but this guy heats really evenly and is fairly easy to clean -- even more if you have Barkeeper's Friend for those tough bits! It's helpful to preheat the pan for a little while on low/medium heat before adding oil. (And do be generous with the oil, of course!) I even make eggs in mine. Comfortable handle and not too heavy to maneuver either. Get this pan, it'll be a friend for life!
Great addition to our kitchen, performs great in regards of heat distribution and easy to handle, cleaning is a breeze.

Nice quality and even heat. This is not non stick so you have to use a little oil or spray oil. All non-stick pans require you use plastic utensils and no hotter than medium heat. I chose this option which will hopefully mean I don't have to replace the pan every two years and I can move the pan to the oven for some recipes.
it took me a bit longer because i was timid about messing anything up. worked out fine. my 2014 hyundai was very easy to run the wires through to the backup light. the mount for the video screen does not stick to the dashboard, but will stick ok to the glass windshield.
