I was satisfied with the quality of picture both night vision and day. Very broad view with the lens. The company appears to have low cost subscriptions and option for free. Installation ? SImple 1-2-3 no drilling which was good having not to drill and holes in apartment. Just self adhesive magnetic base combination. I have yet to get a lot of events where detection and recording done but the ones i did were good. HOWEVER< they don't supply manuals of much information as to how to operate program and software to run it. Figure it out yourself on how to run it. I sat on chat room with support specialist and didn't get much info. " We'll be looking into it for future problems. Go to our forum link sir." Application is put together poorly and very confusing. I have a number of Transcend storage devices, from a couple of 250 GB to two 2T and 2 4Ts. Great product. Drop it and it will still work.

Unlike other drives, it has been knocked around and held up so far. It's not compatible with all devices, but works with a PC. Got it because it's supposed to be drop-safe...Seems to be, so far. Seems to be more durable than other drives...Hoping that remains so! (One short-coming is that it has a very short wire, so placement could be somewhat difficult.)
Easy to use. Simply plug and play. My laptop recognized it immediately. Ample storage. The casing is tough enough to withstand accidental damage when dropped or knocked.
Well my intentions purchasing this item was to download all my files, what I felt is important into my personal storage. What I have encountered is difficulties in downloading the materials. My Laptop keeps popping up with the message that the Recovery X is not found, or when I was downloading in progress it stop and message stated that it wasn't working or couldn't be found. I haven't tried going into the laptop and figuring out what might be causing that message, nor have I gotten in contact with the companies tech line, to discuss this issue I am having. It just might be my setting, who ever reads this and is simpler, I would contact the tech line and discuss this issue I am having, so they don't experience what I am experiencing. Hopefully this helps before ... MoreWell my intentions purchasing this item was to download all my files, what I felt is important into my personal storage. What I have encountered is difficulties in downloading the materials. It does look smart., nice soft hand feeling. Only time will say if it is a good buy. I am still waiting for a small external drive that will not show off its connectors, it would avoid to have dust or whatever lying in your bag get stuck. The connectors should be protected as they are in a weather sealed camera.
