He is well articulated in the legs. The only thing limiting his arm movement is the wings. His head is almost locked in place with the hood so near behind it. The arm cannon, blade and mask all work well for me. Most people seem to have issues transforming Bee to his beetle mode, but I got used to it, and have no trouble doing it. If he had wrists, and articulated fingers, then he would be a mini MP, in my opinion.

Would NOT buy again....very over priced for what you get....poor quality with parts popping off when trying to transform. Very hard and complicated to transforms, pieces very hard to get into position and never seems to go completely into position. Grandson can NOT do by himself. Very small and delicate. Two of three accessories we could not even get on and instructions are very hard see and read. Beware

Okay so the figure it self is nice, but I am down grading two stars on the awful shipping packaging they did. The box was not fully taped up at all leaving the flaps of the box top and bottom open! Wish I could post pics on their packaging here!

Sturdy enough, The Alt Mode is a little panelly but once you have it all together it looks great! Cool accessories, nice little VW bumblebee!
This figure is fun to mess around with and pose. The accessories are really nice, and the engineering is really good on this figure. I love the vehicle mode. My only major problem is the amount of forcing and abrasion required to get the "backpack" tucked behind him, which is kind of scary on this figure because the part being scraped has yellow paint on clear plastic. The paint is surprisingly strong, but after a while, I'm noticing some chipping starting to happen. Other than that, this is a pretty great figure.
This Bumblebee is tiny but very detailed and complex. I love that the ankles tilt forwards and backwards (mostly due to transformation) - a feature I prefer to the almost standard side-to-side ankle pivot. I applaud the direction Hasbro is going with this line of figures, despite the parental ire it may draw for complexity. Still, as great as this figure is, a certain amount of fiddle factor in transformation keeps it from being perfect.
My 12 year old son who is a collector of all things Transformer really loves this Bumblebee. Shipping was sooner than expected which was a bonus for him since he was anxiously awaiting this arrival. I personally think that the toy was a little expensive, but my son was adamant about buying it with his birthday money, so who was I to stand in his way.
This Bumblebee loses a star for not being screen-accurate and for being very difficult to tab together correctly. He's very finicky in vehicle mode and borderline frustrating. Certainly not a toy for younger kids or impatient/careless adults.That said, this sweet little boy is perfect in every other way. He looks fantastic in both modes, is very poseable, and very fun to play with. In robot mode he's cool and looks great, with solid articulation and good paint applications. His VW Beetle mode is just as tiny and cute as the real thing; who doesn't smile when they see a VW Bug? The three (four?) accessories are great additions and allow him to go from looking like a puppy to being all geared up for battle. 3 star because the SS86 (perceptor) series was not given as in the picture. They give another 86 model (Blurr) which we have bought before. Should clearly stated the options so that we can decide better.
this is not only one of the best ss figures but one of the best figures of this year, the combination of ankle tilts side-side and up-down allow him to be one of the most expressivetransformers outside of masterpiece. the battle mask is a great bonus and i would love to see alternate faces return for future transformers. despite what it does well it still isn'tperfect, the backpack really takes away from the elegance of the rest of the figure. 2 nitpicks i have would be 1, I wish the mask was clear and painted yellow as the eyes behindthe mask is a cool aspect of the design, 2, i wish the wrists had swivels or better yet ball joints. it may not be perfect but this is one of the greatest deluxes yet.
