I have to applaud the designers for how far their Bumblebee figures have come over the years. This figure takes every complaint with previous SS Bumble Figures and completely fixes them. No fiddly joints, clear plastic inserts for the door windows instead if painted clear plastic, truly great pose-ability, and a great transformation is easy to execute and is one I can already memorize unlike SS 87 and the other versions. It even fixes the issue with the front wheels sticking out in the robot mode, where you can now fold them onto the shoulders for a far sleeker look and form factor. I still have some small nitpicks with the figure, however these are only very minor downsides that only prevent this already awesome figure from being genuinely perfect. I also wish the figure could have had a bit more silver paint on the figure. Particularly around the eyes since it is some pretty much all of the other bumblebee figures have had, as well as on his blade accessory, since it looks more like it comes with a yellow toothpick than an actual blade. However I assume this was a budget cut on the design end, that needed to be done which is something that in the end I am fine with. My final nitpick is that while the head sculpt undoubtedly his best one, I can't help but get the feeling that he always looks angry. This isn't at all a problem when posing with his blaster or blade accessories, as it actually adds to it. However when he's just standing on my shelf I can't help but think he looks a little too angry for my personal taste. Besides these small mishaps, I believe that this is still an incredibly outstanding figure that I believe any Transformers fan should have, and it is undoubtedly my favorite figure of this wave.

Both figures have a fun transformation, Battletrap is abit more involved but that's what I've been missing form the movie transformer figures. Do wish Battletrap came with a gun. Bumblebee does come with with 2 accessories but I wish the was painted but its not a deal breaker.

Satisfying transformation it really works and is easy once you get used to it. As for the figure it is loose a little bit in the legs but other than that it’s pretty sturdy.And as to why I got bumblebee he is my favorite character and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to get his while he was still new over all great figure and would get Optimus when he gets Released

Love Bumblebees new look. I will say, the top set of tabs on the legs that form the back of the car are extremely difficult to get together. Took me a few hours before finally getting it.
Figure is a great Bumblebee mold. Plastic feels good and sturdy. Conversion is great. The only complaint I have is the unpainted sword. Also it took a while to ship.

I was honestly surprised to find this guy on a store shelf given how spotty Walmart distribution/availability has been over the last few years. I was even more surprised to find him without any major damage as that is also a continuing issue. While Target has the better prices - average $20.00 compared to Walmart's average of $25.00 - their distribution/availability is just as spotty so my advice is: If you are looking for it, grab it where you can find it because you might not see it again.As for the actual figure, it's the centennial of the Studio Series line so very similar to good old Number 1 - it's actually a heavily retooled mold of the 1st Bumblebee. The design is great, one of my favorite looks for Bumblebee. The transforming took a sec because of the chest push feature, but the snapping and clicking tabs hold it together well and has come a long way from the toys I had growing up. The packaging is awesome and the backdrop is a nice touch.
This is probably the best Studio Series Bumblebee released in my opinion. It’s not the same old same old transformation and it looks incredible. I love this version of Bee.
Very good figure, could have used some better engineering for the transformation like having the wheels on the back like the mainline bumblebee has, but a great figure nonetheless. Great blade decoration for scourge.
