This bag is huge, perfect for a mini break where you might pick up a few purchases on the way.I took this to a trip to Manchester and zipped it into it's smallest 'setting' and it was still plenty big enough. I love that it has a long strap for ease of carrying.My only improvement would be that it has reinforced corners or something on the base to protect it slightly when it's put down/on the ground. I suspect over the years, this will be where it wears the most.Minor point, otherwise a great weekend/mini-break piece of luggage.

This is a great, large travel bag. It starts out a regular large size. But with some magic zippers becomes huge. It really holds a lot. It’s a little tricky to re-zip it back to the “smaller” size, but not so hard. It’s worthwhile when you need a lot of room or might pick up more stuff on a trip by the time you’re on the way back. It’s not an everyday bag.

One star off because it Needs a sleeve on outer bag to slip on roller suitcase!! I’ve used this bag for about five years internationally and it’s constantly slipping off my roller bag. :( This is why I’m thinking of getting a different bag. I’ve thought of altering it with a slip sleeve but there’s the expandable zipper in the way. I guess I could professionally get the sleeve sewn on anyway since I’ve only used the expandable version once. It deserves four stars because it still looks new after being used constantly over five years. The quality is great. AND it needs a pocket on the outside for plane ticket/passport/phone. It’s 2024 how can this bag not have a sleeve and outside pocket.
The expandable zipper always comes in handy. Classic design, fits well on top of my suitcase. Nylon is very sturdy. This is my third expandable travel tote from the past 15 years and my other two are still going strong!
This is NOT the original Le Pilage bag but rather an extra large Traveler version. Love the bag so far and the shoulder strap is a must. Biggest hurdle was figuring out how to collapse it down to the smaller size duffle. I called the Bloomies store I purchased from and also called Longchamps Manhattan store for instructions but no one knew. Image card inside bag did not show how to collapse this model only the original which is a smaller version. Finally figured it out though.
This is my third time getting this bag because it's a real travel slug but stylish and sturdy that I've used the others to the ground. However, the shoulder strap is no longer like the very first/original version which is why I deducted a star. The newer strap looks inferior material with no more reinforcement pad on the top where it would rest on your shoulder. The strap was one of the reasons why this bag was perfect.
Such a beautiful bag! I'm very pleased with this purchase as as every aspect of the bag is top quality. It appears superior to smaller Longchamp bags. Also, the size is perfect and I love the flexibility it offers as it's expandable.
I purchased this bag for my trip to Thailand. I love the Forest colour. The bag is lightweight and big when expanded. Perfect for a long weekend and duty free shopping. I purchased this bag as an investment and in all honesty would have liked a dust bag to keep it in when not in use. I also agree with a previous reviewer that having reinforced corners would protect the bag more.
