The Pine Weave fabric found on the Tree-Kanken comes from traceable, certified spruce and pine trees in northern Sweden. The cellulosic fabric is coated with a combination of polyurethane and wax to enhance its durability and give the pack its distinctive patina. The pack's woven harness is constructed from a single long section of woven strap that is also integrated into the pack's signature top handle. The spacious main compartment can safely carry gear, clothes, or school binders, and work supplies. A zippered front pocket and two side pockets offer additional places to stow small items.
