Tresemme Moisture Rich Shampoo 500ml

I have the travel sized version of this that I got for when I went on a vacation last summer. I tend to only use this product when going on vacations as it’s a good, simple shampoo that does its job of thoroughly cleaning your hair and hydrating. It’s also affordable, smells really good, and a little bit goes a long way. However, I do feel like I have found a lot better shampoos for my thick, dry hair that I wouldn’t purchase this one in a full size product or use it for regular washing. It doesn’t really feel like it adds as much moisture and nourishment as it claims to do. I also don’t love how many chemicals are in it as I feel like there are so many better shampoos and products out on the market that are better for your hair.

I normally have curly hair and usually just condition wash my hair, but for those events where I’m in saltwater, chlorinated water or I just sweat a lot I like to wash my hair with shampoo. I only use the Tressame rich moisture because it’s so affordable, it smells delicious, and it lasts a very long time since I don’t wash my hair with shampoo often. One bottle might last me a year or a year and a half. So this is my go to shampoo for my super curly hair which you may see in my other reviews.

I sent my husband to the nearest drug store to pick up things we needed immediately and this was the shampoo and conditioner he grabbed. I am by no means a hair care snob and didn't think too much about what he might grab as I've used drug store shampoos and conditioners before with little to no issues. That said, we all used this shampoo and conditioner that night and if my husband complains that the texture of his hair feels different, you're really doing something. It is so drying that I could barely get a brush through mine and my daughters hair. It was frustrating enough that I was willing to drive an hour and a half to the nearest Ulta to purchase our normal shampoos and conditioners. This shampoo does indeed have sulfates which explains the dryness but it also seems to leave a film on hair, not only changing the texture of your hair but made it look and feel not clean. I think my husband could have literally chose ANYTHING else in that store and it would have been better than this.

Every time I use it my hair is so easily manageable and I'm able to run my fingers through my hair without worrying about tangling! Love Tresemme. Have been using it for years. This specific product. You can feel how moist it's making your hair as you wash it. The conditioner is incredible. You feel the moisture it's putting into your scalp. When you rinse your hair. The shampoo creates a beautiful lather and has an amazing scent I am able to run my fingers through my hair while the shampoo is in and experience no tangling. Upon rinsing the shampoo out, my hair didn't feel stripped of moisture at all. It doesn't dry my hair out and the conditioner has lots of slip, making it easy for me to detangle my hair. These two left my hair feeling hydrated and completely moisturized!

Good moisturizing shampo

This shampoo was worked well for my coarse, colored hair. I have really sensitive skin too and it's been gentle on it. I wash my hair daily, but I think it would make my hair greasy if I didn't wash at least every other day. overall hair is soft, moisturized and doesn't feel like straw. I don't think id recommend this for fine hair as I think it'd weigh it down too much. Oh also love that this doesn't have an overpowering fragrance. Please keep making this!

Had to see professional help to get it out.

We bought this product for my cousins wedding. My wife did her hair and it looked amazing. It held up all night. I tried to help my wife brush out the tangles when we got home. From 11:20pm to 1:15am I brushed which made it better than worse, scrubbed tried to remove the product, used shampoo, and even dawn dish soap. Nothing was getting it out and all brushing did was make it worse. The product made her hair crunchy which is why we were trying to get it out. We are now at a salon as they attempt to get this out of her hair without having to cut any off... 0/10 would not recommend this product. Will be reaching out to customer support Monday. Our hair stylist even said this isn't how it should be.

My 4 year old Daughter suffered very badly from a dry scalp. She'd get patches of dry skin which would turn crusty, very itchy, flaky and eventually start bleeding and scab over. We tried all the children's shampoos and shampoos formulated for dry scalps- nothing worked. I use this shampoo for myself so had a bottle indoors and thought I'd try it on her until we could find a new one to try and treat her scalp. I noticed within 2 days of using this that she wasn't scratching her head as much so continued to use it. Within 10 days her scalp was healthy, not itchy anymore, the scabs and crusty patches had completely gone and her hair looked beautiful and shiny. What happened?!

Tressame 4 has been my hairspray for years. Unscented, good hold without being sticky or wet. But the last can I bought with the "new look" was a totally different hairspray. I bought unscented as always but the smell is horrible, strong and overbearing. It is a wet spray as well. My fine hair goes limp with this "new look". I am returning that can to Walmart. I went to Kroger and bought 3 cans with the old look. Maybe by the time I go through 3 cans, Tresemme will go back to the perfect hairspray or I will find another one to become my perfect hairspray.
