Tresemme Smooth & Silky Shampoo 940 ml

I love the decent size of TreSemme shampoos and the pump at the top which avoids spillage and wastage. The shampoo is really nice to use and lathers easily and I appreciate no parabens and alcohol. I have dry hair because of constant colouring so I need less chemicals and more natural products. I always give two shampoos and this shampoo lathers up really easily and has a light scent but is not overpowering. my hair feels so clean after the shampoo and really soft which is a lovely feeling. Combined with the conditioner I have found this is a good choice for improving the condition on my hair.

I usually LOVE tresemme! I have slightly wavy hair, somewhere in between straight and a light curl. I also live in high humidity, so frizz is a daily battle! I picked up this shampoo (and conditioner) with hopes of taming some of my locks. Unfortunately for me - my hair poofed immediately out of the shower! After air drying and brushing it out, there wasn’t a whole lot more hope. I had lots of flyaways sticking up all over. The real problem, though, started when I stepped outside. Within 10 short minutes my hair was akin to Ms. Frizzle before she tamed it to head to class! Perhaps it was too humid a month to give this a shot, maybe it’s simply not meant for atmospheric sauna of my hometown. This product was not especially noteworthy as far as frizz control. Honestly, I think that job is best suited to whatever conditioner you use, in my opinion. I will say, this shampoo seemed not to get my hair quite as clean, and I was in need of a washing sooner than usual. My guess is, that's how it battles frizz, perhaps has added moisturizers in it. Well and good, but as someone who only washes twice a week, I didn't like the extra moisture at my roots. It smells nice and clean and didn't leave any residue. It would work well for someone who washes every day, or at least more often than I do, so I gave it 3 stars.

My first reaction was hesitant because I tried "smoothing" shampoos, but they just weighed my hair down, made it frizzy and greasy. This shampoo didn't do that. It smells amazing and long lasting, that was my first impression when I opened the lid. It lathers easily and washes out without any problems. I wouldn't say it was amazing at making my hair smoother or silkier than any other shampoo, and it didn't protect my hair from humidity. Overall, this is a good family shampoo if you want something that will wash your hair well at an economical price, but don't expect perfectly silky and smooth locks.

All I will say is that this is the only shampoo I can use in my hair. It leaves in feeling smooth and naturally curly. I get compliments on my hair all day. Does not leave your hair feeling staticky once dried unlike so many shampoos. Easy to brush out after shower. We buy these like water in my house! If you’re looking for a great shampoo to keep your hair silky and natural, this is it. Doesnt make your hair oily either, its overall the only good shampoo out there. Keeps my hair from falling out too.

Something has changed!

Something has changed with this formula as it no longer makes my hair smooth and silky. In fact, after washing - it is an unmanageable mess like a horses tail. The conditioner no longer works as well so I know something has changed in this formula. I comb the condition through my hair - afterwards, when I dry it, it's full of tangles - a huge difference from the way the shampoo/and conditioner used to make my hair so soft and silky. Now I'm looking for a new shampoo and conditioner. I even called my hairdresser to see if she forgot to put something on my hair after coloring it....no she didn't. The product has changed.What change have you made to it?
