I discovered the Trilogy brand in the last year or so, after first trying their gorgeous cleansing balm and have really enjoyed using this natural New Zealand range. I find myself turning more towards products using natural, plant-based ingredients, partly because they are less aggressive on my dry skin and also because they are usually cruelty-free. Trilogy ticks both these boxes - and lots of others besides! Their Vital Moisturising Cream is a rich and fairly thick moisturiser, containing rosapene and marula, that feels like it is deeply nourishing my skin, but is still light enough to absorb quite quickly. The scent of rosehip oil – the main ingredient of rosapene – and the background scent of sweet almond oil, provide some aromatherapy as well as nourishing and hydrating my skin as I smooth it on and pat gently into my face and neck. I usually apply some extra on the drier areas around my nose and mouth, especially at night. The best test of effectiveness? To wake up the next morning and find my skin as soft and plump as when I went to bed. This moisturising cream passed that test with flying colours!\n\nI LOVE that Trilogy enclose a palette stick to apply the cream. This is so much more hygienic , easier to apply and adds to the luxe feel of the product. This is not a cheap moisturiser, at $41.95 for 60 mls, but it is on a par with others, and the use of glass packaging, rather than plastic, and the use of exclusively natural ingredients makes for a high quality product – which does not come cheap. Even better, I only need a small amount to fully moisturise my face so I expect to get good use out of my (recyclable) glass jar!\n

Good basic moisturizer for those that do not need correction, just a good natural based cream that will prevent skin from drying out. My skin is oily to combo with very big pores, mid aged. So I tend to use only light serums as part of my skincare, that are packfull with potent actives for pigmentation and line prevention. Rarely using moisturizers as I find they do not correct anything. And otherwise my skin already is producing oils and is hydrated enough. I got 2 15mL tubes of this cream to try and mostly used them overnight , layered up as a mask after using strong acid, retinols etc. \n\nScent is herbally rose (trilogy typical), light. Few years ago, I read an article about Kate Middleton's beauty secrets being the Trilogy Rosehip Oil, hence, I've decided to give it a try. 👸🏼 The Trilogy product I tried during the winter season was their Vital Moisturising Cream. Made with Rosapene™, marula, orange flower and evening primrose oils, the moisturiser helps to reduce signs of aging. It can be used as a primer and moisturiser although I find it a little slow to absorb as a make-up base and would probably just use it as a rich moisturiser that smells beautiful of rose. 🌹 What are some of the products you tried from celebrity's recommendation? 💫

I recently said i my previous review that I really rated this moisturiser, but it was still a tad greasy in hot weather. Well, I've experimented and just put a very thin layer on when the weather is warm / humid, and that seems to work. This really is a fantastic product, and I'll be able to use it year round, by just putting on on little less / more according to conditions. This really suits me as I hate changing products and it has taken over a year to find this after trying literally dozens of moisturisers. Please don't ever change the formula, As they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

This cream is a real must-have. It is so difficult for me to find a good moisturising face cream. This one is not oily, texture is so gentle and it doesn’t leave sticky layer on my face. Scent is so natural! It is great for my sensitive skin. Trilogy is my FAVourite brand and this cream is magical!

Good

I have used this for ages. The rebranded package feels different than before. I still feel it holds in moisture and is good for sensitive skin, but this time it felt oilier. I would only use it in winter or colder seasons because the texture is quite thick. Still I find the quality really high. Unscented. Lasts a long time.

Lovely moisturizer

Purchased this moisturizer while in New Zealand last November. Started using a couple of weeks ago after finished the one I've been using for years and must admit this Trilogy face cream is amazing. It smells lovely and calming, doesn't clog the pores, deeply hydrates the skin and makes my skin soft and supple. cannot be happier and will definitely buy again.

I received a sample size of this moisturizer is the spring goody bag with my purchase. I recently switch to all clean beauty and couldn't decide which moisturizer to purchase so decided to give this one a try. This moisturizer has been pretty good so far. I've only started my new routine about 7 days ago, adding one product every couple of days & I have not been disappointed with this moisturizer. My skin feels soft and hydrated but not overly greasy. I tend to have sensitive skin but so far, mixed with my new cleaners and toner, all three have paired well together and made a nice little cocktail. Trilogy moisturizing cream

This cream is wonderful! I love the ways it makes my skin feel and when I wake up in the morning, my skin is literally glowing. It has tightened my pores as well as help my skin clear up. I had been researching on how to protect my skin from aging (I۪m 24) cause I want to start early and I have found the key is sunscreen and a good moisturizer which I have finally found! The drunk elephant sunscreen works perfectly with this. It۪s amazing!

I had hormonal cystic acne, horrible skin texture, and tons of irritation. my dermatologist prescribed me retina which i used each night without fail in hopes it would transform my skin--silly mistake.
