This is a brand new lopper purchased to prune a plum &peach trees,couldn’t handle some dead branches the sharp titanium blade side pieces stuck to the branch and broke!!!not worth the money.

Doesn't do the job because the blade doesn't reach the anvil squarely. I am a professional horticulturist. I had to finish most cuts with my secateurs, and finally resorted to my pruning saw. Thanks Bunnings for refunding and returning them to the manufacturer. I suggest you remove them from your shelves, as they don't fit into your 'good/better/best' range policy.

Doesn't do the job because the blade doesn't reach the anvil squarely. I am a professional horticulturist. I had to finish most cuts with my secateurs, and finally resorted to my pruning saw. Thanks Bunnings for refunding and returning them to the manufacturer. I suggest you remove them from your shelves, as they don't fit into your 'good/better/best' range policy.
Ensure all nylon nuts are nipped up and all pivot points and mechanisms are lubes.Mine were loose and dry, as a few items purchased over the years have tended to be also. Maybe recalibrate the tightening tool??
Brought 3/2/2023... blade doesn't cut all the way . Worst piece of crap cutters . I will be returning it and will try another brand.
Only used a few times. blade acquired bump and then a chunk came out of the blade. Dont bother buying these as they arent robust enough to do what an anvil pruner should do. Other brands have performed well for years.
I bought these last week to tidy up some small limbs from a focus we removed. While I would like to claim to be super strong and gifted like an Adonis, this isn’t the cast, on anything more than 4cm thick of green growth they struggled and have subsequently bent, they failed to remain square to cut when the handles were extended to apply the right leverage and even then the bent like a piece of soft metal while ratcheting to finish cut.I think there is a very big oversight in the design as the weakness and deficiency comes from the interconnect piece between handles and ratchet blade mechanism which will cause failure on anything but light work, which would be capable of a standard shear or hand held pruning cutter.I’ll be returning to swap for another set which ... MoreI bought these last week to tidy up some small limbs from a focus we removed. I used this item twice. On the first use I was disappointed that the cutting was not clean. On the second use the handle fell apart.Item comes with a lifetime warranty and after contacting the company as instructed on the label, they sent me back to bunnings. Not a great experience.
It relies on a thin sheet of metal teeth for the ratchet effect. Snapped within no time. Rubbish product.
