Both my cats are used to having a water fountain as previously had the Catit model. This one is a bit smaller so easier to clean, quieter, and has a better flow of fresh water. Only downside is that the cats seem to enjoy splashing the water up the wall at the moment but I am sure the novelty of that will wear off!

My cat has a problem of knocking over the water bowl every time I refill it, this behaviour worried me since he would have nowhere to get his water from other than the toilet, so I was googling for a solution and found this modestly priced fountain. My cat just started drinking water from it and I no longer have to worry about his odd behaviour anymore.

I was concerned that my two ragdoll kittens were not drinking enough water, so decided to buy this fountain. They love drinking from both the fountain and the bowl, and it has definitely increased their water intake. Very happy with this product.

Research shows cat in general don't like drinking still water because they know it can grow lots of bacteria which is why cats prefer to drink from running taps . Because they don't drink enough water they can develop deadly diseases such as kidney disease. Plus cats vision isn't the same as a humans, they pick up on movement and sound which is also why this fountain is so good, it allows your cat to hear and see where the water is coming from. Also with the filter the 2L's of water is constantly clean meaning refilling it with clean water everyday isn't necessary. Great item, my wee man loves drinking from the fountain and the bowl, he also loves splashing his paws in the running water and making a big mess! First thing he does in the morning is rest his chin on his water to be turned on. I highly recommend!
This is the second fountain I have purchased and my cat loves it. It is very good with only one exception, you cannot get part for it if it ceases to work. I will keep the first one I purchased for parts, but it would be nice to be able to get parts.
Great product, easy to put together when following the instructions. The dual levels are great, it’s easy to fill. My cats are drinking more water and I don’t have to wash their bowl out all the time due to stagnant water. Also my cat doesn’t tap the bowl anymore and make a mess. It comes with three filters and each additional filter pack you buy is a three pack. You change the filters monthly. Gives me piece of mind that the cats always have fresh water to drink.
I placed mine on a towel just big enough for it as I have a polished wooden floor (for silent operation). It was a little noisy without it. Instructions that were hidden which had some good info, so read.
Tia has never drunk water from a bowl, only outside from the birdbath and recently from a running tap in the bath. It only took her 24 hours to decide she liked the water fountain. No more muddy paw prints in the bath!
My cat likes to play with and tip over his water bowl. I thought I’d try a water fountain to see if it’ll stop him from playing with his drinking water (and save my carpet). And guess what! It worked! He absolutely loves it and drinks heaps from it! I no longer have permanently wet carpet! You do need to change the water every few days, and the filters are often out of stock.
