Trusens Z3000 Air Purifier Large Room

I opted for this model because it has a True HEPA filter, whereas the Z1000 and Z2000 don't have True HEPA filters (true of most cheaper air purifiers). I trust that things are being caught by the filter because HEPA is an international standard for filtering.It's very quiet for leaving on at night in my bedroom, and is extremely easy to use with only 5 buttons and no complicated wifi, Bluetooth or anything else. This is the largest model in the Trusens Zx000 series and I particularly like its "whisper" mode which makes it really quiet. Just don't forget to unscrew the unit at the bottom and take the filter out, so that you can remove its PWC bag, and then place the filter back in (before powering on the unit for the first time)!

Brilliant

Purchased this during the 2019 bushfire period. Our house got smokey very easily which prompted the purchase. We have two small kids and asthmatics. It did a superb job improving the house air quality. We have bad hayfever as well and running it has made it so much better. Definitely recommend. Wish the sensor was inbuilt.

Good product

Regarding the last comment from Canberra.The filters obviously need changing.Look at the filters they are small.They are not designed to cope with 2 months of severe bush smoke.This air purifier is designed for " normal " indoor air pollution.Air born dust, pollen, cooking odours etc.I have this air purifier to be overall beneficial in cleaning the household air.It is easy to move around the house.Only downside is having a separate sensor pad, would have preferred it built in the appliance.Recommended.

Great purchase works really well

It's been working well so far. Its really quiet which is good. I've discovered my home air quality is really good. But as soon as I'm cooking it picks it up straight away and starts working harder to filter the air. So I know it works! My partner has seasonal allergies so we have it in our bedroom at night and it seems to be helping him a lot. The only downside would be that it doesn't have an app connected so I can't track air quality/ check on it when I'm not home etc.

Impressed by the simplicity of this purifier

I bought this air purifier for our house as the air has been terrible because of the bushfires. In one room I tested, the air monitor reading was over 170 which is almost at the hazardous level. About 15 minutes after use of the TruSens air purifier it was between 20-30. As an asthmatic myself, it is important for me to ensure I take precaution. I could not do without it now. Highly recommend the TruSens air purifier.

Performance as good as it looks

This is an out of the box wizard , bought for our bedroom with our new born , you can feel the difference in the air you breathe after a few hours of turning it on , night mode is fantastic all the lights disappear so u can still have a clean air batcave , I pricematched my purchase at a great discount and jb were happy to provide me with the sale. I highly recommend this model its powerful but can also be quiet when needed. Just a great piece of equipment to encourage / transform a space into a healthier environment. This is like providing clean organic food for your lungs. A life changer purchase .

Quiet, well priced and brilliant product

I'm so glad I purchased the TruSens Z-3000 air purifier, before i bought this I did some research and read heaps of reviews of other brands and made the decision to purchase this particular one because it ticked all the boxes and happened to be on sale at JB-HIFI so I ended spending half of what I had budgeted for so that was a huge relief. I live in a 52sqm apartment and could have bought the smaller model but thought for an extra few dollars i'd just get the large one that way i didn't have to move it from one room to another, it just stays in the main living area and is powerful enough to clear the air in the entire apartment and then some.The air in my home is noticeably different and feels clear and clean. There isn't great ventiliation in my place and it leaves dark smokey marks on everything and the walls (its noticable on anything white) and i've noticed its has reduced since using this air purifier.I love that it's really quiet and detects any change in the air and lights up in different colour modes depending on the change in the air. Green for normal (and really quiet), Amber or Red it gets noisy as it's powering up more speed but the noise is actually not that annoying if anything i like that its powering up to suck all that bad air out of the room and then it slows down to a point when you can't even hear it working. Its fantastic at night if you keep it on, you can turn it on night mode and it turns the lights off and you can't really hear it even working unless it detects a change in the air but not distracting, it's kind of calming. It also comes with a sensor you plug in to a powerpoint positioned near by the air purifier as that detects the change in air and the air purifier changes its settings according to the sensor otherwise you can just adjust the speed manually. I'm really happy with this purchase, the design is really nice and modern and even thougth it's big i'm not bothered by it at all. It's also easy to lift by the handle and portable to move into different rooms. You'll notice the change in the air really fast.

Smoke smell now on use

I purchased the Trusens Z-3000 in late December 2019. I've had it for three weeks and through the worst smoke period in Canberra (two weeks). It worked well for that period and kept the levels low. Now I can't use it because it emits the same horrible smell of smoke that it has been removing from our air for the last two weeks. None of the filter indicators are coming on, indicating that I should change the filters. I tried cleaning the external filter but it made no difference. No-one else seems to be indicating that they are having this problem. Or, are they? Apart from replacing the filters way sooner than I should have to, any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Useless when sensor pod fails

Worked great for a couple of months. After that, it would ramp up to full speed within seconds indicating that the air quality was poor (500) no matter which location in the house it was placed. The air quality indicator remained there even with windows and doors closed. Prior to that, the air quality indicator rarely went into double digits. I suspected it was a fault with the sensor pod so called TruSens for a replacement sensor pod as the user manual states that they can replace broken/lost/faulty sensor pods. That may be so in other countries but apparently not in Australia. So, if the small sensor pod fails, the entire unit is useless. Hard to believe that they would go to market without consumers being able to replace a small essential component. So wasteful. ... MoreWorked great for a couple of months.
