I use these packets mostly on the go since its premeasured, doesn't take up any space to carry packets, and can use it any time when I need it. I buy the box full of these packets at my local warehouse club store. In one of the boxes I purchased, I got a surprise with a little zippered pouch which is just the right size to packets on the go. The only con about these packets are that you can't get it wet as the wetness will go right through the paper. individual packets. Would something like a lined packets work better?

I’ve been making a lot of changes to my diet as a bid to be healthier, including cutting down on sugar. When actually looking at nutritional facts, I began to realize that the average American gets WAY more than the recommended/healthy amount of sugar per day, so I began to look for an alternative. I ended up finding out about Truvia and I’m very happy to report that I no longer need to look any further! I mainly use it for coffee but have also used it for other things. The very important key is to USE LESS. I read a review that stated this before purchasing and it was very accurate advice. You need at minimum half the amount of Stevia compared to sugar, or in most cases, less. If you use too much, you’ll definitely end up with a funny aftertaste- if not, you won’t ... Although I use several Truvia products, this one is with me most of the time. When I eat out and order unsweetened tea, the only thing the restaurants have are the 'other' sweeteners. So I carry my own Truvia packets with me. They are so easy to slip into my billfold or phone case. It is so easy to make sure I always have 'my' Truvia with me wherever I go. I usually buy these packets in the 1000 packet box so that I am sure to have them for my tea or coffee at home and still have enough to carry with me. I sure don't want to run out of Truvia!! It's very rare that I use sugar anymore.
WARNING!! the main ingredient is Erythrol, a sugar replacement used to add bulk or sweeten stevia has been linked to blood clotting, stroke, heart attack and death. Not a good choice. Like usual, they sell 100%natural products butnits a misleading information. For me is a no no. go to the trash. A good option would be organic coconut sugar or extraxt stevia leaf also organic.
I have been using stevia for 20 plus years. I’ve changed to many different brands over the years, trying to find the perfect flavor and sweetness. Once I found Truvia, I haven’t switched to another brand! It’s delicious, void of the usual bitter after taste of stevia, and helps me keep my blood sugar under control. I love the small packets so I can put them in my emergency kit, my purse, my vehicle, and I never have to use artificial sweetener when on the road!

I have to have my coffee sweet do I was consuming too much sugar and was looking for a sugar alternative I tried just about every brand out there when I found Truvia. All the other brands had an off taste which I just didn’t like. Truvia tastes exactly like sugar so I don’t miss it at all and there is no weird aftertaste. Love it! The bag in my photo is the sugar blend which has 75% fewer calories. I sometimes have to purchase this one when the calorie free isn’t available. But it’s still a great substitute since it’s 75% less calories.
