High quality, excellent engineering, easy to use and clearly overbuilt.Minor tweaks: 1) print indexed height lines on straps to make vertical adjustments effortless to move between frequent lengths. 2) make the yolk at top fixable as an option/strap/button for those of us who like it not to slip. 3) make the foot hole straps twice as long as they are too short to slip on as is - this is actually a real problem as they have a stop in place and really can’t be used for size 11 feet.

Had been wanting to buy the TRX system for some time, and I finally took the plunge during the Memorial Day sale. Primarily use dumbbells for strength training, but there are some exercises that are better on the TRX with body weight. Very impressed with the sturdiness and high quality of the materials. i am age 71.5 and a lifelong fitness geek. this trx is a great addition to my outdoor home gym. the trx is a great way to activate a variety of muscles without much risk of strain. i especially like how i can remain stable while doing squats. squats are very important for seniors. i am ACE and NASM certified and will likely take the TRX cert class. I have loved exercising with the TRX through the training club so much over the last four years! The training club offers a wide variety of classes for exercise and recovery, with an ample offering of daily live class times and a huge library of replay classes and recorded workouts. I took a virtual STC TRX training course in 2020, and I’ve been teaching a TRX class at a gym for a couple years, and I love showing students the benefits of TRX with strength, mobility and stretching.Currently buying a TRX Pro4 as a gift for a family member to spread the TRX love!
I am hugely disappointed by the nearly complete lack of written material.The videos are often too fast paced to be useful.I only accidentally stumbled on the fact that one shouldn’t clip the TRX carabiner onto the wall anchor. Alas, the split second glimpse of suspension anchor wrapped around the wall anchor is not enough to know how to best attach the suspension anchor.Some videos contradict each other. Does one use the suspension anchor or the extender to attach to a tree branch? Actually this purchase was my second time. I have it setup outside and use it regularly. We have a three sided building in our yard that has a header 84” high. Mounted midway we have a TRX mounting bracket with the yellow hanger strap permanently placed there. This way we can use the TRX system conveniently. Both my wife and I have used it regularly since March of 2020 when our gym shut for Covid. We’ve continued using it and we recommend it to all our grandkids and friends.
This my second TRX.The defect is the same but I knew how to cure this.Near the anchor point the strap slides from one side to the other which causes an unecessary and premature wear and tear.The sliding effect is supposed to add a difficulty in term of balance but this benefit does not last long as one quickly gets used to adopt a proper balance to avoid this. 1) Before you add the free trial in your purchase, know that the trial starts the minute you purchase the system (before you have the equipment) and not when you decide to start it.2) If you decide to use the door anchor, know that the strap will chafe the door as you're using it. If it is painted, it will eat away the paint almost immediately. If it is wood, it will sand away the wood over time.3) I'm pretty sure the mesh travel bag is the same no matter what kit you purchase and if you get more than the basic kit, it's not going to fit in it. The straps came zip-tied together (very tightly - probably the only way they could get it to fit) and was the only thing in the bag and everything else came in the box outside of the bag.
