Love all the features on this Navigation backpack, except one HUGH MISS. There's no small exterior pocket at the top, like there is with the Brief Pack. When my bag is under the airline seat in front of me, I access that compartment frequently, without having to pull out the entire (stuffed) bag. When in meetings, I keep pens and other items I need to access quickly in that compartment. Storing them in another, lower or interior, compartment is not as convenient for me. I guess I'll keep looking. Fingers crossed for a re-design...please.

Absolutely love this backpack. Way more space than my $$$$ briefcase. However what I real love about this backpack is 1 it looks super professional, 2 it stores all my files, 2 lab tops, 3 ring binders & all sorts of other travel stuff and some extra clothes because none of use trust checking our bags anymore. Pairs perfectly with my Tumi International suitcase. So you know I bought this backpack today and already traveled from EWR to GSO and couldn’t be anymore happy with this purchase, well worth the price. Finally super happy with the sales girls at Short Hills Mall who showed me all of my options, no pressure just super professional. Keep us the good work Tumi.

I finally got the nerve to buy a 500 dls backpack, and after recieving it, I immediately notice front TUMI emblem completely angled and misplaced. Noticeably misplaced. Discusting experience when recieving a 500 dolar backpack. Returning tomorrow at Cantera. Issue here is that I paid expedited delivery and that is nonrefundable, and I cant wait in USA to solve this, return and recieve a new one. Terrible experience. Just terrible. Incredible bad quality on this. How is it possible they can misplace the central tumi emblem? ITS A 500 DOLLAR BACKPACK!

Excellent backpack, perfect size for traveling. This backpack comes with so many well thought out details. Was looking for a casual travel backpack for my random trips and this backpack is perfect. I love that it’s expandable and it has an easy access pocket which is perfect for the airport chaos. Worth every penny.
So far I love this bag! I like a medium sized backpack for incidentals and my small laptop most of the time, and a little bigger bag for traveling. However, I dislike changing bags and where things go in the smaller pockets when I travel. This bag is both bags in one with the expansion zipper, plus it's solid as a rock and has enough structure to stand on its own. It also sits far more comfortably on my shoulders and back than my cheap bags. It's spendy, but worth it!
This is my third Tumi Alpha Bravo Series bag in the leather line. The bag is 90% brown pebble leather, this includes the shoulder straps and handle up top. Remaining on the rear is the typical nylon backing with adequate padding. Zippers are rugged and sturdy, allowing for easy passage along the teeth. Interior lining is gray nylon with sewn pockets, a Tumi leather tag and Tumi's serial plate for registration. Along the front exterior is a Tumi badge with a black leather patch fit for embroidery of one's initials. A black luggage tag is also provided along the top for carry on preparation. Rear pocket has a sleeve that could easily hold a mid sized tablet, while the main padded section could easily hold a 13-16" laptop. The last pocket is actually discreetly placed along the top near the handle and is easily missed, it is a perfect place to slide in my cased S22 Ultra. While it does not have a zipper a magnetic closure is fitted to secure items. I'm very happy with the build quality and of the materials used. Tumi offers a 5yr warranty on their bags and their customer service is easy to reach. This is now my EDC, almost weekly I get a few people inquiring about the bag and some great compliments. Definitely recommend getting one, but act fast as they're a highly requested item that ships directly from Tumi and even their own website sells out fast. Had to wait at least six months for it to show up online, but Best Buy allows for in-stock notifications if you're logged in.
I got this backpack for my husband after he told me he really liked it. First I thought it was too pricey for a backpack, but thinking about how much will he use it, I thought it was worth it. He loved it! he was so happy and excited . He said it was the best present he ever received. It is very well made, has many different compartments, is durable and looks very good.
Ok... so, I got this bag to replace my 6 years old Victorinox Lexicon Professional Bellevue 15, which is also a top-tear premium bag.In my review I'll mainly compare it to the Victorinox, and share my experience with the TUMI search so far (only EDC for a month+).General:SIZE - Similar size, but slightly bigger than the Victorinox - As I never tried the TUMI Search before buying, I had only pictures as a reference... The Search looks bigger in pics than in real life which wad my main concern. But it truly isn't that big, and not much bigger than the Victorinox.Materials:Fabric - although the Search has TUMI's ballistic nylon, also the Victorinox has a very durable ballistic nylon which seems a little thicker. For my needs the Search is just perfect in this term.Also the inside fabric material in the Tumi is nicer.Weight distribution - I had both bags with the same equipment (Dell XPS 13 laptop, ipad mini, mouse, usb hub, cables pouch, wallet, business cards, several key chains, sunglasses in a case) and the Search weight distribution is much better, and more convenient to carry.Looks & Design - its a very subjective matter, and I like both. But the Search is more conservative and clean looking, while the Victorinox is more innovative, different and has leather handles and accents which I like and whish the Search had. Search external top pocket has no structure support which is a con, so I kept the original TUMI packing material and still had spare space to store items internally, but this should be changed in the future model design.Delivery & Packing - One of the quickest deliveries overseas I had from Amazon (Zappos), and the packing was top level. The bag arrived in 100% condition in a large box (no gift box, just a regular box).Didn't have the option to personalize it on purchase process via Amazon which could be great.To summarize my review -Pros:- Beautiful clean design- Excellent organization layout- Great weight distribution and carrying convenience- Perfect size for EDC ( much to spare) and probably for travel (haven't tested it yet)- Smooth and easy to use zippers (durability yet to be proven years ahead)- Excellent packing and extremely quick delivery overseas (Amazon via Zappos)Cons:- Ballistic nylon - thinner than expected and compared to my Victorinox bag - durability yet to be proven years to come.- No option for personalization at purchase process on AmazonBottom line:Highly recommended !
Pockets and compartments galore. Came from a Tumi briefcase that had all the storage. Was nervous coming to the backpack and am pleasantly surprised with how much room their is in this thing.I carry the following...15 in laptop; 15in second LED monitor, ipad Pro, chargers for all the things; several manilla folders that hold approx 100 sheets of paper in total; various A/V adapters and cables; cat6 cable, HDMI cable; several other misc items. I still have room to spare.Good quality on the build. The attachment loops almost serve as a MOLLE system which allows me to put several other items attached to the bag (carabiner, keys, etc)
This is a really nice backpack with great organization and small form factor, which I wanted. I do not need to carry a laptop on a regular basis and this is what swayed me towards this bag over the larger Search. The laptop compartment in that bag would definitely be more advantageous for someone always traveling with a larger laptop. The compartment on this bag is perfect for my MacBook Air 13”, some papers and an Ipad.The slightly smaller size of this bag allows it to easily fit under an airplane seat with plenty of leg room for me at 6 feet tall. If I need more room, the expandable zipper gives me more room than I would ever need for a commuter pack.The quality is nice and the materials used definitely set it a notch or five above my usual Osprey sport bags. ... MoreThis is a really nice backpack with great organization and small form factor, which I wanted.
