Although these have great sound, and are wireless, and not to mention, the charge holds great as well, there is one downside they terrible quality and break very easily. We’ve had this set for about a few years now, and my toddler is autistic, and he really loves to listen to headphones, it’s his way of Stimming so we started using the turtle beach headphones for him because they have noise cancellation. I guess there was one good thing about these headphones is that they did feel good on your ears. They were soft.

Cool features, but leaves a lot to be desired

The Stealth 600 headset does it's job well, however there are a few flaws that keep me from making it my go-to gaming headset. For my setup, I use the headset to game on my PC, and use it for other various things, such as watching movies, streams, YouTube, and more.One of the nicest things about this headset is the sound quality. A big thing that got in the way of the comfortability of the headset was the ear cups. For me, comfortability makes or breaks a headset, and these ear cups definitely didn't add to it. They feel like they are extremely "air-y", and don't hold well to my ears, allowing for easy slippage while moving my head. In addition, it also feels just weird having them sit on my ears. Not a fan of them whatsoever. Another aspect that stuck out to me was the overall build quality of the headset. It dosen't feel like something that can adapt to one's head, and feels cheap in a sense. An example of this is the headset microphone comes out. It's a minor thing, sure, but when pulling down the microphone's plastic microphone to talk and disengage the mute function, it feels like I'm snapping the headset's microphone off.Overall, the headset isn't a bad choice if you can find it on a sale. It has some pros, such as sound quality and being a wireless headset for freedom of movement, but the actual build quality and how it rests on ears leaves a lot to be desired.

Decent Headset with physical flaws

I have gotten this headset twice in the last year. The first time I purchased I had the headset for roughly 4-5 Months before the microphone arm started to crack and eventually break from normal use. Best Buy was able to replace the headset for a new one, but the same issue happened again roughly 4-5 months later. I would recommend using a button on your keyboard for muting instead of using the microphone arm to reduce the amount of time it flips up and down to avoid this issueOverall, this has been a pretty decent headset for the price. I love the wireless aspect and the battery life is really nice for what it is. Sound quality is also pretty decent, and the microphone passthrough so you can hear your own voice is also a very nice touch. The sound quality gives me a competitive edge over my competition due to hearing footsteps clearer, the direction the opposing players are moving, and great environmental game sounds. I can hear my teammates at just the right volume without drowning out the game sounds. I like the convenience of muting my mic by just flipping up the microphone. Having a hearing issue the 2nd gen Turtle Beach Stealth 600 has superior tone quality. The super hearing aspect is far ahead of the competition on anything even twice as expensive and possibly even three times. The Mic has a critical weakness and will break easy so care must be given in this regard. The headset is enlarged for a superior fit over the ears. The Stealth 600 charges with a USB-C cable and can be charged while in use. Overall the items exceeds expectations.

Intermittent audio drops make these a DO NOT BUY

CONS:The audio will randomly drop out for 15 to 20 seconds on my Xbox. I have the usb wireless receiver plugged directly into the back of the Xbox which is literally 4 feet from my head because I am running a race simulator rig with my monitor and Xbox directly in front of me.The earpieces sit fine on your ears although it’s not entirely intuitive when it comes to just throwing them on your head. Last Turtle for me

I have used it for my Xbox and now my ps5.If you have a ps5, do not get this headset.It cannot handle everything and it will crackle with excessive noise. Some cinematics in games just crackle excessively through the transmission, forcing you to remove the headphones.Unfortunately. this was an annoyance that I looked past, I should have returned immediately.Now (two years in) when I turned on my ps5, the transmitter decided to stop working.I tried all the troubleshooting, no luck. Got this item while it was on sale for $60 … within 2 months the top of the head piece just separated. The screws had came loose and u cannot tighten them without breaking the whole thing apart to get to the inside of the screw top. (Which I didn’t want to attempt). Long story short it’s defected and I needed a replacement. Luckily, I thought I got the Warranty this time! You would think they would just swap it out for a new one since I purchased the warranty. WRONG! Instead, Allstate tried giving me two ridiculous options. One being a cheap non-cordless turtle beach headset and the other option was some cheap knock off headset they’re selling on Amazon. Both way lower quality than the 600 GEN . So close to 5 stars....

These headphones have been great; sound quality is outstanding, very comfortable, always connects without an issue. Battery life is extremely long.My biggest complaint, and why I didn't give it 5 stars, is because the volume controls for Game Sound and Voice Sound is located on the back of the left ear cup. So when you are sitting in a chair and rest your head on the seat back, you suddenly lose all sound. Same as if you lay down on the couch or rest your head on a pillow while playing you are going to be fighting your volume.Its so surprising to me that the engineers designed everything else so well but this a big miss. I know I can't be the only person that lays down on the couch, or propped on pillows or a high backed chair while I play.

I purchased a different cheaper headset that was not wireless a few months ago but I got tired of needing the wired connection so I decided to upgrade to wireless. The sound quality from these Turtle Beach headphones is great, but the bluetooth connection drops CONSTANTLY. Like every few minutes during gameplay the audio just drops out, sometimes for minutes at a time. I sit less than 6 feet away from my console and it is not blocked by anything or stuck in a cabinet or anything like that. The bluetooth should work even if I sat another 10 feet further away.
