Okay, this product is lovely. The formula is nice, it’s not sticky or anything which I love! Packaging is good however, it could leak in your bag etc so it could probably use an extra cap covering the part where it turns open. $40 is very pricey for a sunscreen but it the formula is really nice and you actually get a big bottle and it also has shimmer in it (I love that but just beware!). The smell is also very strong (it smells of sunblock/coconut) which I don’t mind but I would prefer it to be unscented. I would but again, but other sunblocks could probably do the same thing!

No white cast and a bigger tube than I thought it would be. I absolutely love the opening of the tube, no lid to faff about with, just turn and squeeze and then turn it back again. It does feel like a good quality product, leaves an almost undetectable shimmer. However I must say I'm not the biggest fan of the coconut scent and it IS greasy for the first 5 minutes or so before drying down. I think the product is worth it despite those drawbacks, good value for money, yes I would repurchase.

I've been layering this on during the British heatwaves and as a plus point, I apply an absolute excess and it doesn't ever feel like I'm coated, but you always notice it's on, it never fully feels absorbed and you definitely have to wash it off at the end of the day. Whenever I've applied I've never burned even if I forget to reapply. I do love the packaging as it cleans really easily for travel and never spills. One thing I would note is there is definitely a gold shimmer running through it so if that's not your vibe, avoid it. If you want something to protect you whilst also making your skin look great in your swimwear, this fits both bills.

My HG
5 September 2022

I have used Ultra Violette Supreme Screen and lip balms for a couple of years and decided to give Extreme screen a try. I absolutely love this product. I bought the tube for my handbag and the pump dispenser for my bathroom. It’s a cream that feels like a moisturiser when it’s applied. It doesn’t smell like a sun cream and it goes onto the skin and sinks in beautifully. It has a very very slight sheen to it (I think it’s barely noticeable). I’ve found the body spf I will always have in my stash. I wear spf daily (after melanoma and bcc diagnosis) and I take wearing of spf very seriously. This one is the best I’ve tried. Spendy but worth it

My favourite body sunscreen

Doesn’t feel too thick and oily like other body sunscreens. The fine shimmer/sparkle this leaves on the skin was also a pleasant surprise. It looks quite pretty in the sun! It also smells like a nice luxe sunscreen(a little bit coconutty). I let my friends borrow this during a beach outing and they all commented about how nice the sunscreen was. None of us were sunburnt that day despite laying in the sun and swimming in the ocean which is a great sign that it does its job well! Also love the size- enough to last me the summer, but not too much that it’ll expire before I get to finish it.

Love. Love. Love.Love the scent, not overpowering or sickly, just the perfect scent to remind you of sunny summer days.Stays on brilliantly even on hot days. I'm super pale and it does a great job of keeping my skin protected.Really easy to apply and dries in leaving no trace behind so you don't have that sticky feeling on your skin. This product was my first intro to Ultra Violette and I'm now a super fan!The size of this is perfect for handbags and beach bags for quick top ups on the go.

Overpowering scent
21 June 2023

I am a bit fan of Ultra Violette products but did not love this one. I find it doesn't sink in as well as many of their sunscreens so leaves the skin feeling a bit greasy (despite leaving it for at least 20 mins before putting any clothes or swimwear on) and I find the smell too much. It's not an unpleasant smell but it doesn't go away and within about half an hour of using this I had a really bad headache which didn't go away. Every time I've used it I've ended up with a headache. However, it is a really good sunscreen and I haven't been burned while using it. If you like the scent, go for it!

Ultra Violette Extreme is an excellent body sunscreen that offers strong protection against harmful UV rays. The formula is lightweight and non-greasy, making it easy to apply and comfortable to wear all day long. It absorbs quickly and leaves no white cast, which is a common problem with many sunscreens. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized and protected. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a quality body sunscreen that delivers on its promises.

Smells divine and I can use it on face and body!

This started out as an experiment. As much as I loved UltraViolette Supreme Screen, which I thought would be on the level of ā€œholy grailā€, something about its smell was putting me off - maybe the kakadu plum?! I’d still recommend it for brilliant texture and if you don’t notice a smell. Still, with the heatwave I wanted something really hard-wearing, especially as I have hyperpigmentation. I asked for a little tester pot of this and gave it a go on face and exposed arms. Despite being very nourishing, it’s not heavy in oils, very sweat and water resistant. Some sparkle but barely noticeable. I was impressed at how well conditioned my face and arms felt, and not like a horrible slicky, sticky mess. It didn’t dry down totally matte but it’s not meant to. And the weird smell was replaced by a lovely vanilla/baked cookie smell! I did have to blot a tad during the summer but now that we’re heading into autumn and winter, it’s perfect for my combination skin. You don’t need much to cover your face and neck properly and this is going to last me right through to spring without expiring (yes sunscreens expire)! Maybe if Ultra Violette did a scent free version of their sunscreen(s) it would really help people who are very sensitive to fragrances. Otherwise, another brilliant sunscreen!

The body sunscreen to converts sunscreen haters

This is a lightweight, fast-absorbing sunscreen with an ingenious twist dispenser that means it can be throw into a bag without risk of spilling. There's a light coconut-vanilla hand-cream-y smell to it that fades quickly and there's a touch of shimmer that boasts glow rather than sparkles, both of which could be negatives to someone, but due to this being the body sunscreen that you'll find me carrying year-round, pretty much everyone I see regularly in sunny times has tried it at this point and it's literally the only sunscreen that *everyone* will put on a second time (and a few previous sunscreen haters have bought their own bottles of it! I have a friend who even uses it for his face, but ymmv).
