I've tried a few co-washes on my naturally curly hair but this is the best! It leaves my hair soft and is the perfect base for using a leave in styling product or before applying the scrunch jelly. Don't be put off by the lack of lather, it really does wash and condition at the same time. My curls look defined and shiny

I've started the Curly Girl Method as my curls were struggling after cancer and the medication I have to take and Radiotherapy Treatment. This product is Curly Girl Approved and it's made a massive difference to my hair. My precious curls are back and happy! Full of bounce and life. I'm so relieved and grateful. Not all Umberto Gianni Products are Curly Girl Approved but this one is.

I'm reviewing the shampoo and conditioner together as I would never use them separately. I had been struggling with my hair which had gone from wavy and manageable to curly and unruly (thanks hormones). I tried so many different shampoos, both pricier and really cheap for curly, wavy, dry and even normal hair to no avail. I finally tried this and I wish I had done so sooner - it would have save a lot of upset and money! The shampoo/conditioner combo are a pleasure to use. I had been losing a lot of hair in the shower too and now it's non-existent as my hair and scalp are both very happy. I am obsessed with Umberto Giannini’s full curl jelly set! I cut all of my hair off back in June 2021 (which was down to my waist length) due to it being extremely damaged and unhealthy from using cheap hair products, I started using the curl jelly set on my 1/2 inch long hair and now nearly 2 years later my hair is getting nearly shoulder length and extremely healthy and I have my natural curls coming back which I couldn’t be more excited about! I couldn’t be happier! I will never use any other haircare products after starting to use Umberto Giannini!
My hair is soft, thin and long with 2a-b curls. I have tried many shampoo over years. Many products weigh my hair down or destroy my curls. I tried the crunchy jelly of Umberto Giannini in a beauty box and was very happy with it. So I tried its curl jelly wash yesterday and apply its jelly and some heat prevention sprays. My curls have been beautiful, bouncy for the whole day. This morning, curls are still beautiful.
I’ve been using this gel for years. I have naturally curly hair and this gel works wonders. It’s non sticky with great hold, keeping my curls separated. You only need to use a little so it lasts a long time. A great product.
Absolutly must to try if you have curly hair! Mine are somewhere between eavy and curly without special priducts and nicely curly with it. I have bought bundle together with curls refresher and worth of trying together (refresger day after). Smells nicely but not very strong, so you may use your favorit parfum. Works great with difuser also as with air drying and products are signed with big letters as conditioner or shampoo - handy if you have eyes full of watter in shower :) Definitelly will buy it again

I abandoned my natural hair and committed to years of straightening. Over the past 18 months or so I’ve tried and failed to achieve what I remember as lovely natural curly hair. I’ve spent a LOT of money on various “wonder” treatments but never achieved what I remembered having back when I was young and beautiful. I kinda gave up and just thought that as I aged my hair had changed texture and I was left with incredibly frizzy part wavy, part frazzled limp but very thick hair. I then took off my towel and applied the jelly, scrunching as I went. I then dried my hot on low heat with a diffuser and dared looked in the mirror. I couldn’t believe that I was looking at my own hair. I finished off by scrunching the cast off my hair left by the jelly and I was left with beautiful bouncy natural curly locks. Not a bit of frizz to be seen!!!! I’m now on day 3 after my hair wash and scrunch and I am still rocking fabulous curly hair. 38 years old and I have to say, my hair is better now than in my teens- even with years of bleaching , straightening and the rest. Hair still smells of the lovely distinctive curl jelly smell- all be it a little less potent these days. Reminds me of lynx africa!!!Thank you so much unberto giannini for reviving my mop.(I wish there was an option for photos!)
Don't ever change this formula! Love, love this shampoo. Leaves my hair shiny, bouncy, moisturised and my scalp really clean. It never weighs my hair down, but somehow gives me enough moisture. I find it especially good in the cold dry weather. You only need a tiny bit too. Wish I had tried this first before buying lots of expensive Curlsmith shampoos that I now have to finish off!
I used another brand of curl shampoo & conditioner for years as it was good & affordable.They changed their product & added an ingredient (rosehip oil) which made the product rubbish.I was gutted as all other curly hair products were so much more expensive & you don’t want to waste money on bottle after bottle trying to find a decent replacement.After one duff choice, I landed on the Curl Jelly shampoo & conditioner. Affordable & it bloomin works!Result! Smells great, not too spendy & brings the natural curl my hair has. 🙌🏼
