Uni Kuru Toga Advance Upgrade Mechanical Pencil - Gun Metal - 0.5 mm

I love this pencil. Its USP of course is the way it automatically revolves the lead so the tip remains sharp - clever stuff. Occasionally I'm aware of the tiniest grating sensation as the mechanism does its magic, but it's not a big issue.

Superb system keeps the lead turning as you write. Feels good in the hand and writes like a dream, real joy to use and build quality is unimpeachable. Bought two so I can gift one!

Liked the idea of a 'non-flattening' lead, and it seems to work well.Pencil lfunctions well, looks fine, well finished.Minor issue is that the pencil barrel is polished and a little slippery, could have a bit more grip.Nevertheless happy with the purchase!

Having spent a lifetime with slim cylindrical mechanicals I always find these modern designs with fatter, flared out grip sections take some getting used to. Having said that, this is a gorgeous pencil of high quality. Of course, with the double speed Kuru Toga mechanism and a sliding sleeve to protect the lead against breakage and also pocket safe ...it's a winner!

It's such a lovely pencil. Looks good, feels great and being metal, will last. The revolving lead keeps a point instead of a chisel and thus draws consistently finer lines. I love it!

I used another Japanese brand for a mechanical pencil, but they had a tendency to jam and it became impossible to unblock them.I was recommended this pencil as a reliable solution and they also support rotating the lead each time the button is pressed so the lead remains sharp and doesn't chisel.

Great quality pencil, feels nice in the hand, been using it with 4B leads for sketching and enjoyed it a lot. Feels like a big step up from my old Pentel which broke!

The mechanism in this pencil is really genius. if you're looking for a really cool kuru toga mechanical pencil with a much faster gears than the original 2017 advance ones. then this is for you to enjoy. the tip of the pencil is perfect for me since I hold my pencils and pens close to the tip of the pencil.

Perfect Mechanical Pencil for Tidy writing

The hand writing looks neater with this mechanical pencil, no more mixture between thick and thin letter anymore. With traditional mechanical pencil, the letter sometimes looks thick when the lead is not sharp and the letter looks really thin when it is sharp. Kurutoga Advanced fix tgis problem. The lead is always sharp.
