I've always struggled to find a hair product which will control my fine frizzy hair. I saw an ad on Facebook for this hair clay and thought I'll give a go.I always bought the salt spray as I see you can use it as a pre-styler.After the first time I used the hair clay, I was blown away. It control my hair perfectly and if a bit of hair went out of place in the day, I could just re-style without adding anymore. Perfect product for my hair.

I used to religiously use the same hair product until I started going with a slightly longer style. In the last couple of months I have tried numerous brands and products from texturizing putty, sea salt spray, volume powder, etc. All of them have failed to provide a lasting hold to get a consistent style throughout the day.I was after a product that could provide a strong hold for a longer messier style whilst keeping that non-greasy finish.I'm absolutely made up with this product and it's well worth the price tag - I will definitely continue to purchase this one

Good performance in short hair. Great hold and really lovely scent.Minor downsides; fair amount of warming required in palms before application (not unexpected).Slightly less time in between washes when using,Top product.

Till now I was using an older version of UPPERCUT “MATT CLAY” and I must say that “MATT CLAY” was better than this new “CLAY”.It has better smell, better texture, it was easier to apply in the hair and it didn't leave small grey dots/dust in hair after application.I don’t know why would you remove the best wax from selling and replace it with impoverished version.Bring ”MATT CLAY” back!
My new favourite hair clay. I've tried many clays in the past, from Stickmore to Blumann. But uppercut clay is my new go to. Great pliable styling with all day hold. It gives a good matte finish without being too dry and has a lovely masculine scent. Great value for money too as a little goes a long way. Thanks for such a great product
Unfortunately this product is overpriced and just an average hair clay. It smells great, but that’s the only thing that differentiates it from any other far cheaper clay product. It does exactly what it is advertised to do just like any other clay product. Seriously overhyped quality. Really such a let down in my opinion.
I've used loads of different products in the past but decided to take a chance on something a bit more expensive and I haven't looked back. The hold is perfect, lasting the whole day with my hair held in the right place without feeling like it's got much product in at all. I use this after the foam tonic and the two combine perfectly. A little goes a long way but also washes out really easily. I've already ordered my next batch.
Got a sample of this with my first order and liked it enough to buy full size version. It smells absolutely great and a little goes a long way. Used to have a shorter, spiky style and think this would be great for anyone styling that look. Currently growing out my hair, which is thick and wavy, and use just a tiny bit of this alongside the Easy Hold Cream. Usually only need to apply this Clay after shampooing when my hair needs some extra discipline! Seems to work best for me applied to completely dry hair.
I used the clay before it was discontinued and since it’s return I’ve been disappointed. The new fragrance is intense and would over power any cologne or body spray I applied. It’s very axe like in terms of sell. Also the product itself isn’t malleable, it’s an overly firm paste vs the old traditional clay which had more flexibility. I do think the uppercut pomade is a better product after trying the clay.
As someone who typically has to spray down with a strong-hold hairspray after using the matte pomade to get my hair to stay in place through the day, I was pleasantly surprised by the hold of the clay. I think it looks even more natural than with the matte pomade, and while I do run my fingers through my hair every once in a while, it holds great without hairspray and looks like I have no product in at all. The smell is nice and not overpowering, and the application is easy: make sure to apply to completely dry hair and rub your hands together to warm it up before running it through. I then style with fingers and/or a comb and keep the clay warm with a hair dryer while I’m working it in. Less is more. Will be buying again.
