So I have a very long top style. And I find it very hard to get a product that keeps my hair held and doesn’t let it fall as I work in a bar, where it’s hot and sweaty. The one problem I’ve had with it though is if I follow the directions and put it straight into dry hair, it sets all most immediately and I can’t really style it without punishing my scalp. So I apply it to wet hair. That’s my only gripe. But it is smooth, when you rub it into your hands to apply and not bitty like other products I’ve had, and a little goes a long way. First time I tried it I put the usual amount of product I usually use on my hand and it look like my hair had been laminated. Really good product. Wouldn’t have heard of you guys if it wasn’t for Facebook.

This is the best stuff I’ve ever used! I have especially fine hair; and I’ve always struggled to get volume and avoid oiliness, and for a long time I had to resort to hairspray. No longer! This stuff holds and creates volume extremely well, allows for a natural, matte look, and doesn’t give way to oily flatness by the end of the day: I highly recommend this powder!

I really enjoy this one as an everyday type of hair product. I have a pompadour like hairstyle, but I don't really get too crazy with it. This has a good enough hold and shine to rock for any day. I would go with the pomade for a night out, or use the Clay if I wanna change it up and have a more natural look. But this one is a nice medium of those two.

Great pomade with great hold. I have fine hair so I tried the matte version to make my hair appear fuller. I loved the application and the feel of the product. The scent is a bit to much, it's nice at first but I tire of smelling it through the day. My hair is mostly white and I found that I prefer the wet look of the Deluxe pomade better as it adds the wet look and a little darkness to my hair. Overall great product for fine hair, it really adds texture. However I'm not a fan of the dry look, if you are younger with color still in your hair it would be great.
Less is more. Very easy to use and apply. Former mousse and gel user. Fine and thinning hair, matte offers enough hold. Very mild scent. Can comb hair back into place with the palm of my hand! Amazing product, can't figure out how it works, hairs stay together, but not glued down. I am a lifer now. Thank you. Uppercut!

I found my existing hair products a bit lacking so decided to look into getting more professional (if you will) products. After some research I liked the look of Uppercut's products and also their brand ideals and after browsing their site settled on the Matte Pomade. Now that I've been using it for a while and figured out the best amount and application for my hair I'm really pleased with it. I think the guide being online would be a good idea. Very happy and will definitely be returning.
Smells really good, reminds me of the sugar free caramel syrup when I worked at a coffee shop. Smell is strong in the tin but isn’t too intense once it’s in my hair. Has a good medium hold, dries down to very slightly sticky if you touch it, but doesn’t leave residue on my sunglasses. Hair will definitely get reshaped if you wear a hat or something. I opt for this on days when I know it won’t be super windy/rainy/etc. Washes out pretty easily!
I just got my "Matt Pomade" in the mail this week and have been using it every day to try and break it in. I give it an easy 8/10 for a pomade. It works in soft and hardens quickly. It has almost a soft cocoanut or coffee smell that my wife loves. I'm Greek and my hair is thick/dense and heavy. Pomades in the past have not worked, but this product does an AMAZING job of keeping its shape all day. If you're looking for that natural look, no grease, and no shine, this is an amazing option. The only downfall I have so far is I like being able to play with my hair and remold if needed throughout the day. If you apply this product to dry hair it will stay dry and harden quickly. If you apply to slightly damp hair it allows you to play a little bit. My hair is still flexible especially if during the day I need to touch it up or change the look a bit, I just add a bit of water on my hands and style to what I want. It washes out completely when I shower at the end of the day leaving nothing behind. I couldn’t imagine being without this product. I forgot to pack it one time on a trip and I couldn’t find a shop that sold it in the area I was in and had to use a product that was recommended by a barber. It cost more and it flat out sucked! I dealt with it for a week. Couldn’t wait to get home and toss it in the trash.
