I’m so excited that I got to try the new Limited Edition Valentino Born In Roma Rendez-Vous The Gold Donna Eau de Parfum for free in exchange for my honest review! I received a 3.4oz/100ml bottle that retails for $165.00.First the bottle is absolutely beautiful! It stays true to the Valentino rock-studded design, but is in the most beautiful gold color. It definitely does embody the hold of a sunset. It looks so luxurious sitting in your vanity. It turns into a more creamy floral smell with a coconut undertone to it. I can definitely smell vanilla in it as well. I honestly am not a huge fan of floral fragrances, but the fragrance mixture in this is absolutely amazing! This actually reminded me a lot of Alien Goddess. Being that it is an Eau de Parfum, in terms of strength and sillage, I’d say this is mid level. It lasted about 6 hours on me, and even longer on my clothing. You can definitely smell it if you walk by someone wearing this. I’d say this scent on me is perfect for the Spring or Summer, and for all occasions. It may smell different on you though. I highly recommend you try this out asap before you can’t get your hands on it anymore.

Worth it!!!! I took a while to review this because I wanted to test the perfume in the 17 day period of busy work weeks and late weekends. The reason? I fell in love with the smell at first whiff. So I wanted to see if it had longevity, projection, and if it was worth the value. It passed all the tests with flying colors. Sprayed two spritz on my clothes and the smell would stay even after 2 days. The projection is amazing in accordance with the amount of spritz's. Just twice and any room you walk into will smell hints of a garden lush with gardenia, manderins and sunshine. This is such a beautiful spring and summer smell, it delights the senses!! This is a very a pleasant, traditional scent, in a beautiful bottle. It opens brightly with the white florals, with hints of citrus. The dry drown is still very floral, but with a vanilla/coconut undertone that gives it a nice warmth. It doesn’t smell strongly OF coconut, but it’s a nice under layer. There’s nothing unexpected here; it’s all just very pleasant traditional blend. In terms of wearability, it’s not a strong scent, it doesn’t project very far, and it fades in a few hours. That means I wouldn’t wear it out in the evening when I want to catch attention. But the subtleness, in combo with the traditional scent, make this a very good daily scent to wear to work. First and foremost I have to say that this packaging is absolutely stunning. I feel like they really took their timing crafting a beautiful bottle to make anyone who uses it feel fabulous. The bottle gives off such elegant vibes, and makes me feel like I need to go put on my pearls and go to a fancy dinner. It also felt thick and sturdy, as if I could drop it and it wouldn’t break. I did however have a little bit of an issue. For the price point of this perfume, I expected decent packaging. While the box the perfume comes in is glamorous, the way it arrived to me wasn’t so much. My packaged arrived in a decently large box and when I opened it, I found a much smaller box inside with no filler in the box to protect it. This smaller box was the Valentino box that contained my perfume, and it was very beaten up and dented like it had been thrown around. It was also coated in a thick dust or dirt. The dirt coating the perfume box wasn’t on the outside, but rather under the sealed plastic it was wrapped in, which was surprising. It was obvious this dirt didn’t come from shipping the product to me, which left me with some questions as to how it got there. Besides having some problems with the packaging, the product itself was lovely. The bottle was so easy to hold and use. The nozzle felt sturdy, distributed the product well, and felt like i wouldn’t have issues with it getting clogged. It produced a perfect misting of the perfume. The smell of the perfume left me smelling it for entirely too long. It was intoxicating and I couldn’t stop. The longer I smelled it, the more scents I could make out in it. The scent I personally smelled the strongest was white floral, but it also smelled strongly of coconut with vanilla fighting to get through. Each scent also seems to get stronger the longer I wore it. Keywords I would use to describe the overall smell would be girly and sophisticated. I would say it only takes two sprays of this perfume to last you the whole day and leave everyone trailing behind you asking what scent you are wearing. Another plus to this perfume is that since a little goes a long way, this bottle will last quite a while. I also felt like this was a great day perfume for me, but you could definitely wear this in the evenings if you wanted to. I enjoyed wearing this perfume the most when going to work, going out with my friends, and going out to restaurants. I would highly recommend this product to people who like floral and sweet smells, and would urge people who don’t like floral scents to stay away from it.
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I am so ecstatic that Valentino has created this Limited Edition fragrance. The packaging is glamorously exotic. The initial spray down has a beautiful coconut and peach scent, that does not overwhelm or exaggerate. It is perfectly fine tuned to the pleasant aroma that is easily recognizable as well as amicable. I love how this perfume stays close to the skin and comforts you throughout the day. It is definitely more on the tropical side, but is somehow not overly fruity or sweet. This scent is simply spot on. You can wear it in the warmer months, but it is not too much of a contrast to wear it in the cooler seasons. I highly suggest wearing it without layering it, as it has a nice lingering effect ... MoreI received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. This perfume is femininity to the max. Its top notes are fresh florals but not in a flowery way. The only way I could describe the scent is floral with an undertone of coconut. I absolutely adore the packaging as its gold accents make me feel so bougie. I would recommend this scent to a more mature women because the scent is not very sweet but rather fresh and clean. In terms of longevity a little goes a long way. I sprayed one singular squirt of this perfume on my neck and smelled its VERY STRONG scent all day! I must say this perfume is potent and is not subtle what so ever. In fact, it did give me a minor headache because of how closely I sprayed it to my face, that is the only reason I will not be giving this product five stars. *I recieved the product in exchange for my review - but dont let that stop you; I'm picky, and I hope this is at least helpful*Lovely, citrusy, warm, summery, solar fragrance for this perfume. It reminds me of the toasty beach on a perfect summer afternoon. The solar aspect is just right without being overwhelming or headachey. Bit of a mature scent but still somewhat sweet. It lasts all day, over 8 hours with a lovely fade over time. Very potent, too - no need to overdo this one. One spray is enough without being too much. Don't buy this for your significant other if they're an over-sprayer with their fragrances.Perfect for the end of summer and beginning of fall. Beautiful, feminine, softly sweet, fresh, warm, smooth, creamy, classy, sensual, inviting, citrusy, and floralThis opens bright, fresh, softly sweet, citrusy, floral, and a little creamy. The mandarin really shines for the first few minutes, but then it settles into the rest of the fragrance with the gardenia and just a very subtle coconut. The coconut is just a whisper of a scent, but it does bring a delicately sweet creaminess to the whole fragrance. As it dries down the scent becomes more smooth as the citrusy mandarin scent blends more deeply into the fragrance and I start picking up on more vanilla. It’s got a little more of the Alien Goddess feel, but that DBIR dna is definitely still intertwined throughout.I think this will actually work well year round, I definitely don’t consider it to be just a summer fragrance. It will also work for pretty much all occasions and ages, so it’s a very wearable scent. Overall, I am really pleased with the Gold DBIR and I’m enjoying it a lot!I get great performance with the Gold DBIR. The longevity is excellent, it lasts throughout the entire day and I can still smell it the next morning. The projection is good too, it radiates out at least a few feet from me. I only need a few sprays for these effects, so that definitely makes it a better value.
Oh she is one to remember. Im surprised by how much I love her so far. It gives classic and timeless but not basic. Gives me Roman Holiday and Audrey Hepburn vibes. Very demure and very modest. She's real strong first spritz in but then she dies down to a lovely. She smells almost familiar. I am smelling the coconut more and more and I love that because its my favorite. Its not a strong coconut to me but I could see myself wearing this daily. I get the white florals and maybe a little amber note in a way initially. It does give a bit of vanilla too which is yummy. I think this scent is suitable for both work and school. It can be worn on a date or to an important meeting and family events. Its a little vacationy from a standpoint but also sophisticated enough to be an everyday scent. I will definitely keep her in my rotation. Will experiment with some layering i think a nice vanilla body butter and coconut body oil would really bring out the notes and make her even more lasting! Ten outta ten from me.
