THE comfiest pair of vans I have ever owned. I have wide feet and a very high instep but these fit so well and are like wearing a pair of slippers....even in the hot weather my feet don't feel claustrophobic at all. Already searching for my next pair of comfy Cush!

I?m on my feet constantly at work (I?m lucky enough to be able to wear casual footwear) and the soles are definitely softer compared to the regular SK8 High which I also have. Due to the thickness of the sole it took a little longer to break-in compared to the regular SK8 High. The break in time is a little longer compared to the standard SK8 High; for me it was my small toe that had some soreness the first few wearings but once they did the fit is just right. I also have a wide foot so both the Comfycush and regular style are good for wide feet. With all this said I would probably go with the standard SK8 High for my next pair since they are also comfortable without the slightly longer break-in time. I?m nit-picking when I compare the two models in this review. ... MoreI?m on my feet constantly at work (I?m lucky enough to be able to wear casual footwear) and the soles are definitely softer compared to the regular SK8 High which I also have. I got these for comfort and to prove to my adult kids and colleagues that I am a cool old fart.

The comfycush label leads one to believe these would have a padded sole....but they are hard and uncomfortable. I had ordered the same size as my Sk8-Hi MTE-2 Shoes (which are awesome)....but they fit nothing alike. These Sk8-hi's are narrow and generally uncomfortable.

Wasn’t too sure bout the website at first but took a shot and definitely worth it! They dont make these anymore soo i had to cop before they were all gone!
Absolutely love Vans and will continue to wear their shoes as long as I live! However, this shoe is really disappointing. If you have a high-instep like me, it is extremely restricting and digs into the bone on the top of my foot. I purchased the comfort kush for extra support while bartending and after working a 12 hour shift in these shoes I feel like I have nerve damage on the top of my foot. No matter how much I've tried to loosen them and stretch them, they leave my feet swollen and in pain. The extra arch support is a nice idea but I can hardly notice because it limits the amount of room for your foot. I am disappointed because I've worn them for 3 months, and the quality is impeccable, there is barely any wear and tear. However, I cannot seem to break them in ... MoreAbsolutely love Vans and will continue to wear their shoes as long as I live! However, this shoe is really disappointing. However, I cannot seem to break them in and it feels like a giant waste of money because they are $10 more and now I have to go and buy the regular sk8-hi because I cannot wear them.
Honestly, didn't really like them at first. They felt very different from regular sk8 hi's, the outsole is definitely made of a different material than I'm used to (don't know how it would hold up skateboarding) and the toe seemed a little tight at first. After the first wear though, I was sold. They broke in quickly and I find them much more cushioned and comfortable than the regular version, great for being on my feet all day at work. Seem to be good quality, but I haven't had them long enough to judge their durability. I ordered a half size up, mainly because they were out of my regular size 7.5, but also because some reviews suggested doing so, and I'm glad I did.
I'm a casual person.I go for walks often, even around the yard.I live in a place that has all types of terrain.Forest, rocky, sandy, etc. These shoes are perfect for what I do in life. The comfycush supports my high arches. As well as the high support for my ankles, perfect! These shoes are stylish and go with anything I wear!I recommend these shoes!
Best shoes I've ever had, so i had to buy the exact same ones after these shoes have finally died after av few years of wear. Before these, i would only wear Nike dunk sb, but they're too hard to get and too expensive, and now i will only be wearing comfycush sk8 highs for life, at least until they stop selling the all black ones! Perfect shoes!
I have sesamoiditis in my right foot. I usually have to add an extra insole to my shoes to be able to wear them without it flaring it up. These I don't have to. They are the most comfortable shoes that I've ever worn. Thank you Vans for making this shoe!! I'm so glad that I found these. If you have foot problems, try these shoes. I definitely recommend these!
These are literally the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! They look like classic vans but they are actually really light. Also the pattern on these shoes is beautiful. I've had lots of comments from other people when wearing them too.
