I work in often side of road, rocky and lose gravel conditions. I was looking for a comfortable shoe that was also durable enough to give me some traction but also not feel every rock picking the bottom of my foot. I thought this might be too much to ask out of a shoe and was not sure what I would receive. I received them, wore them to work, and immediately searched for the largest rocks to test out. I was more than pleasantly surprised, I had found exactly what I was looking for. Comfort and durable.

As with my UltraRange MTE's that I use for the winter only, these UR EXO SE's do the trick for my spring/summer season needs. The fit is exact, and comfort when wearing for long periods of time never waviers. My only "complaint" are the shoe strings. I wish they were the thicker style that my MTE's came with, as EXO SE strings are a bit harder to loosen when removing the shoes.

I love this products design and they are super comfortable. Unfortunately, like others, mine too have ripped out only after a month of minimal wear and tear. I would not recommend these shoes at the price they are. The material and sewing around the front of the shoe is just very poorly done. I want to love these shoes, but with them ripping only after a month, I can't.

I've been wearing Vans for almost 20 years now, and I can say that these are without a doubt, the most comfortable ones I've bought. I don't skate anymore, so I can't offer any experience from a skateboarding perspective. But I wore these pretty much all day Saturday and didnt want to take them off after running errands all day. Will buy more colors and variants in the future for sure
I hated these when they were released and took me a while to try, now I’m glad I did. Super comfortable and they aren’t bad looking either. Not sure about durability, I have 5 pairs I rotate, but so far no issues. I’ve been on long walks in them, spent hours standing in them and spent hours with the kids climbing up stairs amusement parks and indoor play places. No complaints.
I have been admiring this shoe on others and finally got a pair for myself. I love Vans and have been wearing them for years. I appreciate the newer styles that come with UltraCush padding and this shoe is so light and comfortable you will want another pair. I've already ordered a 2nd pair!
Sometimes you never know how Vans are sized. I have pairs that I can wear with socks and those that are supposed to be the same size that I cannot wear with socks. These are size correctly and socks feel great. The only change I would make is to wident the toe bed slightly to accommodate the actual shape of one's foot. Seems like a no-brainer, but whomever is making the decisions doesn't get it. Otherwise, rad shoes!
You know when you hear a new song for the first time but you immediately recognize the band? That's this shoe.The design elements are all Vans but in a sporty package that's unexpected. This is my first UltraRange shoe but I'm sold. I bought them as an all-purpose travel shoe and I think they'll be perfect for that application. Lightweight and breathable so your feet won't run too hot, but the build feels solid and the materials are more resiliant than typical running shoes. Sturdy enough to handle light trail work. A great all-arounder! Runs true to size.
I bought these shoes about a month ago and have warn them a handful of times. They're cute but they KILL my feet. First day wearing I got a nasty blister and since then the biggest issue has just been how sore my feet are after wearing them for only 2-3 hours. I would not recommend these at all.
Bought these for my son and he loves them but for the price the quality and longevity make them not worth it. Paint actually started coming off immediately but since it was a cosmetic issue I ignored it, however he's only been wearing them about 3 months and he needs a new pair. I would buy these again if they were made with more quality.
