Great suction on all floor surfaces. Requires minimal exertion and I can see fluff, dust and rubbish in the cannister. But. Hose is too long and a significant trip hazard. Vacuum body design is angular and gets caught and stuck on skirting board when going through doorways and around corners, also gets stuck around tables legs, lounge and furniture, and you have to turn around, step over the long hose and walk back to release it.

The most attachments Ive ever had for a vacuum cleaner. All very useful as well. Very strong suction power that can be adjusted to suit your needs. At this stage, I only have the power on half. Any higher and you cant even push the wand across the carpet. The wand is telescopic, which I love in a vacuum cleaner, because even the kids can use it when they offer to help. I only wish it was a little longer, as you find yourself bending over slightly to vacuum. And Im only 5f 11. Its bagless, which is also a big tick for me and emptying it is fairly easy, however hair seems to get trapped around the area where the dust comes in and isnt very easy to get to. But you can get most of it out. And the only other thing I wish, would be to be a little quieter.
I was tired of my cheap Kmart vacuum, it worked decently well for the price but would clog up fast with all the dog hair. I spent a solid couple of days looking at different options and their price points but without a doubt the reviews were consistently pushing me towards the Vax Pet Pro. After using it now for a month I can confirm that it is indeed incredible value for money. Far better than my cheap Kmart vacuum ofcourse but also I can't see anything to fault it on that something like an expensive dyson or hoover might do better. It has a huge capacity bin that doesn't clog up and mess with the suction. It has variable power, its easy to maintain, the filters are all durable and washable. I purchased this vacuum cleaner because of the reviews it had received. Yes it does have decent suction but thats all. I keep having to go over the same spot on the carpet numerous times to get it to pick up stuff that I can see and thats with the turbo head. Its not very user friendly for maneuverability. It is extremely loud (high pitched noise). The heads are hard to get off when you want to change them. Very disappointed. It will now be used for the cars instead and I will be buying a different one for the house.

I set to low power & put my palm flat over the opening and the brushes dont touch my skin. I returned vacuum to Good Guys within 24 hours who gave me great service and a refund when i pointed out faults.
This is a great, well priced vacuum! Our 12 year old Dyson died so we ran out for a new vacuum I was skeptical because of the price. This gets up so much more dirt than our Dyson ever did. The only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5 is because I had to keep unclogging the hole in the multi floor head, probably only because we have 4 girls with long hair in the house. But I was amazed at how powerful it was!! Certainly Big Bang for small dollars

There was absolutely no question what to buy next, a new VAX, but what model I thought.... and since becoming a father of a fur child at the beginning of 2018, a wonderful kelpie X called Buster, my vacuuming duties have trippled. After some research and a short deliberation time my decision was final, i will invest in the VAX Pet Pro, and sooooooo glad I did!! Since buying this unit, my carpets havent looked cleaner, well, in the 19 months i've owned my home that is lol. A fantastic vacuum. So glad I bought this over a more expensive option. I've read that many people find it to be too noisy, it's not. It's a vacuum cleaner, of course it's going to make noise. I've had more expensive brands that were worse. I think peoples expectations are unrealistic and they just like to whinge. I have two ragdoll cats and they leave a LOT of fur everywhere. This vac, with it's animal brush head does a perfect job in removing cat fur from the carpet, not to mention a lot of dirt, making the carpet feel very clean. The smaller brush head does a fantastic job of removing fur from seats and other lounge furniture.
