Versace Eros Flame Twin Pack 30ml

I'd reached a point my cologne purchased a few years ago at Macy's (large bottle) had finally reached its end. I decided to do an online search to see what was out there and what was popular etc. I ended up purchasing smaller, multiple sets with this one, small sample bottle of 'Versace Versace Eros Flame Men 5 ml EDP Spash'. I have used a couple of the smaller sets and very much like the smell. This Eros arrived a day or so later and I tried it yesterday after my shower. I have no reference point on this product and assume this is the way it smells. I believe over 7000+ very positive reviews guided my decision to try it thinking if I like it I'll just purchase another larger container.It is AWFUL!! With over 7000 positive reviews, for the life of me, I don't know how that happens, because even though smells are subjective, you'd think with thousands, there'd be a preponderance of opinions making this product a good one? I also have no idea if there is such a thing as a 'bad batch'. Anyway, my advice? If you're thinking this is a product you're still interested in at least just spend the relatively little amount to get the small container.

Versace Eros Flame is the better brother in the Eros line. The citrus opening up top, featuring mostly oranges, adds a unique twist compared to the rest of the line. Backed by black pepper, there is a bit of a spiciness added that keeps you intrigued. The original Eros dry down D.N.A. with that clean, linen-like, vanilla and wood combination is still there though. Due to the citrus twist, the fragrance has more versatility. In my opinion, this could be utilized in any season and temperature (just remember to adjust spray count). The performance is also way above average. It's quite loud and lasts extremely long, be mindful with sprays in the heat. For the decent price, this is an absolute steal in terms of pleasant scent and outstanding performance.

Eros Flame is the great and underrated spinoff of the original and iconic Eros. Eros Flame goes a more warm route than the cool fresh route of the original. Flame features lemon and mandarin notes at the top, a citrus take on the eros apple. Flame also has a peppery note to add a sort spice in contrast to the mint of eros. They both feature the sweet vanilla base which allows for a beautiful dry down. Overall eros flame is a good winter alternative, being more warm and spicy, but I find it to be suitable year round with the citrus. It does suffer the same problem that I had with Eros, and thats below average longevity and sillage on my skin, but of course that can vary person to person.

Ideal for summer

I have the EROS Blue and Red, both very unique and fresh ob the skin. The red is lighter than the blue. The red is also a bit more fruiter in scent. I am not a smell connoisseur by any means. But its really subtle and nice. It takes awhile for the tones to settle once you spray it. My ideal recommendation is to do what I did. Go and get a sample first before you buy. (I went to a boot store and tried it) The blue is stronger as mentioned and a very unique smell. Nothing like it on the market that I know of. It settles so nicely I found myself spraying it on myself a few times through the day because I just really enjoyed the scent, and want to smell it myself. Unique Scent

I bought a lot of different fragrances during a recent sale. I bought from all the top designer brands and I’ve got to say that this is the most unique scent of them all. I’m usually not a fan of the “freshies” (fresh smelling fragrances) bc they’ve got too much of a synthetic shower gel type of scent. This one is different in all the right ways. It’s got the perfect blend of sweetness and spiciness. You are going to LOVE smelling this on yourself throughout the day. The opening is heavenly and the dry down is quite the contrast as it does weaken quite a bit but smells very clean. This is a winner for sure in my opinion. The only critique I have is that it becomes a skin scent after a few hours. But the scent itself is 10 stars on my opinion.
