The initial citrus blast doesn’t last more than an hour or two before the musks and woods start to take over, which is fine by me. Total life of the fragrance is probably 6 hours or so before I would reapply but more than enough to get you through your event.I really like this. I think it’ll be a good value for the money once it’s been out for a bit. Definitely a summer staple.

For those who are tired of this profile, skip it.That said, if you’re an Aventus fanboy (guilty as charged), you might appreciate having this around to preserve the pricier bottles. Would I buy a full bottle? Probably not. It’s decent, but at this point, I’m craving something that breaks away from the typical formula.

The Eros line has such a striking, distinctive signature, and the Flame flanker put a unique Italian twist on it with the bitter chinotto and juicy mandarin notes. Energy, however, feels a bit like a me-too product attempting to capitalise on the popularity of Aventus and its brethren. The blindingly bright lemon opening aside, the market is oversaturated with this style of cologne, be it from clones, designer or niche mimics, or even the original Creeds themselves. What Eros Energy has going for it, however, is the more affordable price point compared to Aventus, and a solid construction, without any notes sticking out like a sore thumb - if you're a lemon fan, that is!

[Rewarded Review] A surprising twist for citrus fronted EDP
20 October 2024

I will start off by saying I don’t appreciate citrus scents on my skin, it doesn’t fit all. I am someone who appreciates finer fragrances from higher end brands that create very unique scents that are instantly recognisable for what they are.I will say for mass market scents I do like the original Eros but it doesn’t offer a complexity that I appreciate. Eros Energy is a very citrus forward scent with bergamot, blood orange, lime, mandarin, grapefruit and lemon at the top notes. The heart and bottom notes are significantly warmer with pink peppercorn, black current, amber, patchouli, musk and oak moss. For those who appreciate a citrus scent will profit from the uniqueness of Versace Eros Energy. At $115 on Sephora and Versace websites, this is very fair price ... MoreI will start off by saying I don’t appreciate citrus scents on my skin, it doesn’t fit all. [Rewarded Review] Beautiful, long-lasting, refreshing, citrus cologn
22 November 2024

I really enjoyed this scent! It is definitely a very citrus fragrance, but I love citrus notes. Initially you are hit with an energetic, crisp citrus, but as it settles with your skin it becomes more warm. This cologne is super long lasting. I could smell it for several hours after I sprayed it, but it wasn’t overwhelming. I use 3 sprays, and that seemed to work well for me! This is definitely a masculine scent, great for day or night, with awesome staying power. I wish I had gotten this in full size because I love it that much! The full size bottle looks high quality and would be a nice aesthetic addition to your cologne counter. I think it’s a great value for money as well. Only $87 for 1.7 oz. Will definitely purchase full size in the future.

[Rewarded Review] Citrus bomb
28 October 2024

I received this product from Influenster for my honest review. I'll start by saying I actually really enjoy this fragrance. It is a moderately strong citrus bomb. The lemon in the opening can be a bit off-putting to some people, but I think it works well in creating a strong base for the fragrance. This one will be great in warmer weather to keep you smelling fresh throughout the day.As is the case with most citrus scents, you won't get all-day lasting power or very strong sillage out of this. However, you will get moderate projection and longevity, which is pretty good. Versace did a good job of making this a smooth citrus scent. 18 October 2024

The bottle looks really good it is yellow like the sun. It has the same look as its predecessor but a totally different vibe for the scent. The scent opens up with a burst of citruses and freshness. I smell the Bergamot, blood orange, lime, Mandarin, grapefruit. The heart does have a little bit of a bite from the pink peppercorn with the black currant and white Amber following close behind. Then it finishes out with the Patchouli musk and a bit of woodiness from the Oakmoss. This is classified as a citrus Woody and it is rightfully so. It has the sent DNA of things I have smelled from particular brands that cost twice the price. Definitely a solid release that I can see getting a lot of wear in the spring and summer months. I received this sample of Versace Eros Energy for review. I was pretty excited because there was lots of hype about it and it has been some time since they released a new Eros flanker. The initial spray hits you with a powerfully loud lemon lollipop scent. I'm guessing this is where the "energy" comes from because it really wakes you up. It's a nice clean scent. The dry down leads to a warmer somewhat spicy profile. It almost does a total 180 on me. The opening is somewhat unique but the dry down smells familiar to other masculine scents. It lasts a few hours on me but that is to be expected as very few fragrances have been able to pull off an entire day on my skin. I gave this 3 stars because it's not what I was expecting it to be but also I feel like you can ... MoreI received this sample of Versace Eros Energy for review. [Rewarded Review] Really Nice Scent from Versace
25 October 2024

Scent: The top notes of this scent are bergamot and a ton of citrus, and that is what you immediately get upon first spritz. It is a lot lighter than the original Versace Eros. The projection I feel is pretty good and I didn’t have to spritz much for it to be noticeable. Upon dry down, there is a hint of musk and pepper, which is really nice especially in the fall cooler weather. This is a masculine scent due to the pepper notes, but I feel that I could still be unisex since it is so light. The fragrance longevity, for me, was average and I feel like it lasted all day long and projected well. It’s a light, citrus and peppery scent that will do well in the office and on a casual date night. Due to the peppery notes, I would consider this a late summer/fall scent, as it isn’t too warm but also gives off some freshness. I believe this fragrance could have mass appeal but I’m not 100% sure it really aligns with the Eros line.

[Rewarded Review] Strong citrus profile with woodsy undertones
15 November 2024

This scent opens with a strong citrus profile that has a lot of throw to it. Since the top notes are primarily citrus, with bergamot, blood orange, lime oil, mandarin, grapefruit, and lemon all making an appearance, I expected this to be a strong citrus scent. It morphs to primarily lemon scented, and then settles into something a little bit softer and more masculine overall, while keeping the brightness of the citrus top notes. The heart of this fragrance is described as pink peppercorn, blackcurrant,, and white amber, which all contribute to a darker and softer feeling to the scent after about an hour. The base notes of patchouli, musk, and oakmoss keep the scent feeling very robust and woodsy after a few hours when the citrus starts to fade away. The base notes of patchouli, musk, and oakmoss keep the scent feeling very robust and woodsy after a few hours when the citrus starts to fade away. Patchouli usually isn’t my favorite base note, because I find that sometimes it can overpower the other notes in a fragrance, but in this case the balance is just right and it adds a sort of earthy, spicy, warmness to the undertones of the scent without taking over entirely.I really enjoy this fragrance, I love that it opens with such a bright citrus but morphs into something that feels darker and a little bit more sensual, while keeping that bright top note throughout the day. I find that some fragrances lose their top notes entirely throughout wearing them, and I found that this fragrance held onto the citrus very well. I would say that this really feels like a summer fragrance to me, primarily because it has such a strong citrus component. It feels very light and beachy to me, and would be perfect for a seaside vacation, or a trip to the Mediterranean. This is described as a men’s fragrance, but I would say that it leans much more on the unisex side of things because it does have a lighter overall profile than many men’s fragrances I have tried. This scent had a very strong projection, especially right at the beginning with the citrus top notes, so I would say that this is a scent for people who really enjoy fragrance. It’s by no means a subtle scent at all, and I would guess that people around me could smell it while I was wearing it. This is the type of fragrance that you can very easily use too much of, which is something to keep in mind. I don’t mind a strong fragrance, because it means that the overall bottle will last longer since you don’t have to use nearly as much.Since this was a sample card, I can’t really speak to the packaging overall on this, but I will say that I liked that the card included with this sample had all of the fragrance notes listed, as well as the overall family for the scent. It is a 1ml spray bottle which lasted me a few uses. It isn’t a large sample by any means, but it was enough to get a sense of the overall fragrance and how it wears throughout an entire day, and in a few different contexts.
