My experience with these pocket clips are a great idea but the whole clip was poorly designed! I was so happy when I got my two one the Spirit XBS, and the Swiss Tool BS. When I tried to put the clip on each Tool the clip didn't fit right and the screws broke apart meaning the head would detach from the screw itself! I paid $21.45 with tax and all. I did get credit for one clip solar and I'm sure I'll get the rest of my beso soon. I was told it might be back on the market within six months or so. This was a real big letdown. I still love Swiss Army Knives and Swiss Tool's.

Great invention, now the Spirit settled the pockets, and became the best world multitool ever!Realy sturdy sitting, pliers can be fully closed without any problems (just slightly springs, but you may bend the clip a little and it will not touch the opposite side at all).

Unfortunately it was too good to be true.Clip itself is great quality, highly polished, without any sharp edges.However the mounting screw is the biggest letdown.As soon as you apply any pressure to mount the clip, screw breaks and thread goes through the screw head.I really wanted to love this product, unfortunately as per French review below, screw is making this clip unusable.Maybe I had faulty one, but I will not be spending another £25 to find out.

Received today. Installed with blue thread locker. I read previous reviews, and made sure I tightened snug, but not torqued. Success.
I found this moved when opened and closed tool. I thought it was loose so tightened it but screw broke.

There’s little argument that this is a well-made, easy to fit pocket clip, but at £20 a pop (representing about 15% of the overall cost of the tool, once fitted), it’s a bit of a rip-off. It must be a nice little earner for Victorinox, as it’s practically impossible to buy at a discounted price from any other vendor. It’s a solid piece of metal and compliments my Swisstool Spirit X quite well. The 90° bracket by which the clip attaches to the frame means that around 11mm of the Swisstool is left sticking out from the pocket, creasing the pocket itself and/or causing the multi tool to sit at an angle, depending on the fabric of the pocket.
