Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit MX with Nylon Pouch - Silver

Really cool one hand opening main knife.

I've only had the spirit mx for a short while but it's already my favorite multi tool. I own several other multi tools from Leatherman which are plenty great in their own right but the fit and finish on the spirit mx is noticeably better. It's a fairly slender and pocketable for a fully loaded mutitool. The tools are all sharp and well built and snap into place very well. Each tool can be pulled out easily without adjacent tools being partially drawn. All tools lock and are easily released when finished with use. The ergonomics of holding the tool are very comfortable especially the pliers. I really appreciate the one handed blade draw function which makes for quick use. I doubt it will affect my use with them but I could see situations where I'd wish they had a wider opening. I wish the main blade was a bit bigger. It's fine and seems strong enough for what I'd use it for but seems a bit small. The price is a bit steep but overall the quality is refined and the craftsmanship is second to none so you do get what you pay for. It's my edc.

A well made and elegantly engineered tool. It is more expensive than other options, but that cost is well justified.Swiss Knife Shop's customer service was very helpful in assisting me in a multitude of inquiries that I had. Shipping speed was not world-record but acceptable.
