The Victorinox Cyber Tool 34 Functions has exclusive gadgets that you will not easily find on other multi-tools. For example, the Cyber Tool has a bit holder with four bits, a ballpoint pen and a mini screwdriver. The bit holder is made long (6cm) and extra narrow (5mm), so you can reach everything. A bit holder is often supplied separately with the pocket knife, but with this Cyber Tool the bit holder is very nicely incorporated into the housing of the pocket knife. The bit holder cannot be locked, but it is much more firmly attached than the other tools, so you can use a lot of force. The Cyber Tool can be used for multiple activities. This way you can take it with you when you go off-piste skiing, snowboarding or splitboarding. You then have the bit set at hand in a situation when you want to adjust or tighten bindings, but pliers or a knife can also provide a solution when you are on your own.

A High Quality "GoTo" tool, useful for routine maintenance and repair/replacement of components in modern microelectronic devices.

The arrangement is well-thought-out and compact, and all of the components are high quality. This is kind of a pricey item, but no more so than the tools it replaces of equal quality. It is more easily carried and accessed than a small tool bag, and its component tools are attached or stored, thus not so easily lost. This is the Swiss Army knife of the 21st century. I have found it as an indespensible ally for my day to day life. No longer do I find myself digging for the right tool in my tool box, as Its already waiting in my pocket. The light is perfect for driving in fasteners in recessed areas, and it functions as a flashlight in a pinch. The knife has all of the right tools, I wouldn't change a thing. I recommend picking up the Victorinox belt hanger and a medium chain. I am so glad I did, its goes with my wallet and knife perfectly.

I bought a Cybertool 34 from MEC after my multitool was confiscated at an airport. At first I loved the full complement of tools (including scissors and pliers and a very useful screwdriver complete with several bits), but found it a bit heavy to carry in my pocket. However, I've come to love this thing over the last many years, and figured out that the weight isn't noticeable if carried in your bag. Now I take it everywhere. It was obviously designed for electronics technologists and IT folks, and has everything you need to take apart a desktop PC and put it back together. I've used it a lot, for everything from fixing PCs and installing routers to opening packages and peeling apples. Swiss army knives don't frighten people at work like a huge multitool or fixed blade knife does; nobody gets excited when you take it out. The Cybertool has the top quality Victorinox is known for, and extremely useful -- it even has a corkscrew! Highly recommended as a superb light-duty multitool.

Best SAK for the home
18 May 2022

This is my second SAK after losing my Swiss Champ at the airport as security confiscated it when I forgot to put the knife in checked luggage. This tool has been with me in the last six years and I've used the bit driver on this knife a lot. I've used the bit driver to set up Ikea furniture, replace batteries on kids toys and even used it to change the keyboard and batteries on laptops. The second most useful tool on the knife for me has been the scissors. The magnifying lens is great for taking macro photos with the iphone camera. The only wear and tear on the knife has been to the philips head bit but that is understandable after all this time.

I only use it all the time

I've owned this tool for years. I'm an IT professional and carry it in my bag. I end up using it multiple times a week. The No.2 phillips bit has lost most of it's black oxide finish, I use it so often. I lost one of the bits at one point but found a cheap replacement at the site that's named after a south american river. When disassembling HP computers, the drives have torx screws because HP is stupid. This tool has torx bits that match the HP screws. It stashes a sewing pin that can be used for those stupid sunken reset buttons/cd eject buttons/sim card eject tool. It has a ballpoint pen. The pliers are tiny -- guess what you end up using when you drop a tiny screw into a tiny laptop compartment. The tiny scissors would be better if they were a pair of snips but ... MoreI've owned this tool for years. Never used the bottle opener to crack open wine in the server room, but did use the precision screwdriver that coils into it to fix our receptionist's eyeglasses.I guess this is a very indoor computer nerd tool for MEC to be selling

I have had the cyber tool for a long time. Used every tool on the knife. It is still going strong, replace the tooth pick, tweaker. The pen has save me when nothing was close . Also the pliers and screwdriver times , with the scissor. I carry with everyday. It is the best I have known. Great company to deal with, order from.

My favorite Victorinox Swiss Army knife so far!
16 November 2016

I have several Swiss Army knives and this is my favorite so far. It has more useful tools than any other. I use for day to day stuff. When I'm camping I switch out to my "Champ" that has more outdoor tools. The light isn't super bright but gets the job done. I love the driver bits. Wish they had a few options for other bits. The pliers have been handy but take a little getting used to. Unlike some, I do use the corkscrew for bottles of wine. Magnifying glass is handy too but I haven't seen if it could start a fire yet. You'll appreciate the standard scissors, knives, and screw drivers too. I haven't used the can opener yet. I'm skeptical it will work as good as my Army issued one but we'll see. I highly recommend this knife to anyone who tinkers with electronics. ... MoreI have several Swiss Army knives and this is my favorite so far. It has more useful tools than any other. Outstanding features for techies
6 February 2020

The CyberTool M, as the name implies, is ideal for those who work with computers or tech equipment. Unique to the CyberTool line is an in-line screwdriver housing with a selection of bits, including Torx, hex, small Phillips heads, and a small flathead. The screwdriver has excellent torque and I like it much better than the shorter perpendicular screwdrivers on most other models. This model also features pliers, which are stronger than they look. Excellent model; slightly on the heavier side (5.4 oz) for an everyday carry, but well worth the extra ounce as opposed to, say, a Deluxe Tinker.

Proves Itself Right Away

This knife is already proving to be fantastic! I had to purchase another pocket knife as I had tragically lost my Swiss Champ after owning it for 20 years. After considering the tools from the Swiss Champ, like what I used and needed out of it, I sprung for the Cybertool Lite. It meets what I commonly used prior and expands on those, particularly with the bit driver set. It also opens up new possibilities with tools that I didn't have on my old Swiss Army knife, specifically the pliers. There are less tools than the Swiss Champ, but I hadn't regularly used the tools I'm missing, so no worries there. I initially felt like it would end up being a gimmick; and it kinda still is, but its brightness certainly makes it useful, especially when I don't feel like grabbing a flash light while tinkering or don't have one near.Hard to find a con without being nitpicky, so I'll just conclude by saying it's perfect for me! Looking forward to new adventures and a longer number of decades with it!

The best screwdriver & bits
10 June 2022

No other tool IMO has the bit driver and spare bit holder. I bought it when it was introduced and have been carrying it every day in the decades since. I've replaced lost bits, toothpic, pin, screwdriver in corkscrew and used up the pen. I've also broken/replaced the scissor spring. The screwdriver is offset. It should be in the center of the tool. The scissor spring isn't as good as the Wenger lever.Change those and it is the perfect pocket tool.
