I was surpriced and had totally forgotten the knife ..so out of curiosity i asked my mother, if its still sharp at all?She said it was almost as sharp as the day she got it - I tested it and had to admit, that it was better/sharper than my own Fiskars and Raadvad-pastry-knives(those where only 2 and 3 years old)So i ordered a new one for my self - I think that "20 years of hard use" ..and still ...
