I was looking for a bread knife to replace my old one, and this is an amazing bread knife, cuts through any kind of bread in a few strokes with little effort. It is supposed to be a bread knife. I have found that it is a lot more than that, I use it for everything, really sharp, light enough to use all day long. It is just perfect.

20 years of action and still cutting fine!

As 15 years old, I was looking for a gift for my mother. A friends mother told me about(and recommanded) these knifes(that she could get cheap trough the working place)I bougth 1 bread-knife(pastry knife - with wodden handle) for the gift and she was very pleased.Now 20 years later - I was on a visit to my parrents and there i found the "old knife" on the kitchentable. I was surpriced and had totally forgotten the knife ..so out of curiosity i asked my mother, if its still sharp at all?She said it was almost as sharp as the day she got it - I tested it and had to admit, that it was better/sharper than my own Fiskars and Raadvad-pastry-knives(those where only 2 and 3 years old)So i ordered a new one for my self - I think that "20 years of hard use" ..and still ... MoreAs 15 years old, I was looking for a gift for my mother. All you need

Many years ago I asked the owner of a Swiss knife shop which knives he'd own if he was only allowed to choose two. He said the 10cm serrated Victorinox veggie knife (no surprise there) and a 20cm+ serrated Victorinox. The latter surprised me but he was spot on. Now I couldn't live without them either. As a chef I

As a chef I rely on my knives, this knife is fantastic. I had one for years till someone took a liking to it and stole it!! that knife for me through tones of prep through the Olympics and several other jobs for years, fantastic to use it on vegetables and cutting meats and if you have a function that calls for cutting sandwiches and other delicate goods this is the knife for you!! Brilliant
