Beautiful wood finish didn’t disappoint. Very functional size that will slip easily into a pocket. Wish it was a locking blade, but that’s a minor issue.

This Spartan hardwood is the exact same knife used in the classic MacGyver episode Serenity!It has that old 1880’s Old West Feel and it’s the only knife that Will do for me!

The Spartan Wood (with walnut scales) is simply wonderful.Well-crafted, nice to look at, yet still highly functional as an everyday carry knife with no added bulk.It has a timeless yet modern look that serves as an affordable yet classy gentleman's carry for me. It looks better than most "gentleman's knives", yet costs FAR less and is more practical.I highly recommend this knife.

Elegant and sophisticated, great fit and finish...a Spartan for every day carry and suitable for those dressier occasions. When used quite effectively for whittling, found it helpful to install the optional mini screwdriver in the corkscrew...helped reduce the hot spot that the corkscrew may cause. Walnut scales develop a beautiful patina overtime. Keep your Spartan clean and dry, hone the blades as needed, lightly lubricate occasionally and this tool should last a very very long time.
One of the better prices I saw online for the quality, especially considering the engraving. It looks very good in person. Delivery was on-time. I'm looking forward to giving it as a Christmas gift! I would recommend and buy again
It is very practical and I love it. However, unlike it's sister Spartan-model(withought the wood), be forewarned, this model does not have the tweezers or toothpick. So you get what see on the picture. I still love it and will get much use from it when camping, on roadtrips and Picnics.
This came as a really good quality knife - I got the handle engraved and it turned out really nice. Perfect as a present for my brother!
Perfect for my needs - I have it in my rucksack that I use every day for work, and use the Spartan occasionally. It's the right size, not at all bulky, and the wooden scales give it a very classic look. For what I wanted, and how I use it, it's ideal.

Love the stylish look of this pocket knife! I had a red one, but everytime i fly, i seem to forget it's in my carry-on... Over the years have had to replace my tools, so i can't vouch for durabilty but the smooth wood finish feels very luxurious compared to the plastic i had before. If you're unsure, get it ;)
