Excellent Swiss engineering; everything opens and closes with a satisfying 'snap'. Nothing going or out of alignment, heavy and feels sturdy.

Have still got my old one I bought years ago and still going strong. I thought I’d treat myself to another one and keep elsewhere. Absolutely fantastic but if kit, forget about other brands, this is the Rolls Royce of all tools. Worth every penny.

Quality multitool - for heavier duty use. The weight is not as bad as I had feared. Precision engineered. Best toolset of any multitool in my opinion. This particular model has both straight and serrated blades which I prefer over scissors any day. Brilliant price on FFX too. No -brainer!

Amazing Daily Use Tool

I have had the same tool for over 20years! It amazes me how strong it is, how versatile it is, and how often I use it at work! I just ordered another case for it and haven't been carrying it for a couple weeks so I don't lose it. I am constantly going to my hip to use it. Can't wait to get the case so I can use it again. Simply the best! I'm 6'-1"over 200lbs, run heavy equipment and use it hard with no worries. Costs a lot but worth every penny and then some!

Good tool Bad service

When I bought my tool it came with a nylon? pouch. That pouch is worn and frayed with the bottom almost worn through. When I look for Swiss Tool pouches all I find are knife pouches. when I try to contact Victrinox via their form it will not send. They do not want to hear about problems.

Great quality but heavy

I have been carrying this multi tool on and off for the past two years. The craftsmanship is great. I have found it is most comfortable with a very stiff belt. I wear a reinforced gunbelt and have no problems with it but with a simple cloth or thin leather belt the weight can get to you after a few hours. I am an aircraft mechanic and it gets quick easy tasks done very well. I wish it came with a button snap on the sheath. Great multitool.

Magic tool

I've had it for years and rely on it every day and it does the job without fail, every time. Blade is getting a bit thin from sharpening and tip a bit damaged from a big electrical shock but otherwise great. Can't explain how useful it is for little fix-ums where it is not practicable to get out the big tool kit. Mine has the cloth pouch which has some holes from wear but has survived very well given daily use.

The Ferrari of multi tools.

My favorite new multi tool. The build quality and finishing in a Victorinox product is always good, but their multi tools take it to a whole new level. This is the result of an attention to detail and high quality control standards. Every tool operates smoothly and has excellent finishing. I couldn't expect more from a custom hand made tool, the fit and finish is that good. Also, I find this tool much more carry friendly than its main competitor, the Leatherman Surge. Some may prefer the Surge because of one handed opening tools and replaceable wire cutters and that's a valid point, but the Swiss Tool has superior finishing and build quality. I like them both, but I'm more likely to carry the Swiss Tool on me, while the Surge goes in a backpack or sling bag.

best tool/knife i own

I was given one as a gift many years ago. it has become my most reliable and always carries knife/tool. its still sharp and useful , all the tools on it still work as designed, and overall it has remained remarkably unmarred. in fact friends have often marveled at it durability both in use and appearance. I have told pretty much every friend I have looking for a multi-tool to not bother to buy anything but a Victorinox, because having had or been given pretty much every competitor multitool on the market this is the only one I still own.
