This was the first Victron Item I purchased from BlueMarine. The first charger I received would not connect to the bluetooth app. I'm thinking to myself "this is going to be a big pain to get resolved". Nope... Called their number, a human (Victor) answered the phone, in a matter of minutes diagnosed a bad bluetooth antenna, and had a new one on the way to me. I subsequently ordered 2 more Victron items and have spoken to Victor several times for advise on installing them in my Four Wheel Camper and toy hauler. We all know Victron stuff is top-notch, really nice to deal with an company that is the same, and their price was the best I found. Thanks!

Charger works as described/expected. I use it on a small 200ah portable solar cart. It's been so cloudy lately, that I needed a good lifepo4 battery charger for my system. I also wanted to stick with Victron. The fan is very quiet. The bottom of the charger does get very warm so try to leave some space under it if you mount it. I used 6 awg wire with Ferrules on the ends. If you get this charger for lifepo4 batteries, be sure to change the mode to LI-ION. It does remember the last setting you had it on when the power is removed and plugged back into the grid. Either way, you should always double check the mode because the other settings can destroy lifepo4 batteries. It works perfectly within the Victron app and it joined my Victron network easily. It has a built-in 40amp fuse. I still have a 40amp DC breaker between the charger and battery to protect the wires. The only con I can think of at the moment is: There is no way to 'lock' the mode button to keep from accidentally pressing it and changing the mode to a different charge cycle. Still, a 5 🌟 charger.

Probably the best dollar value for putting amps into a Victron LiFePo4 battery. It doesn't have a remote shut off to allow it to be controlled by a BMS, so it pairs well with something that has remote off switch like the BMS 12/200 or Cyrix-Li. I bought this instead of the Phoenix charger because it was nearly half the price and I didn't need the extra features of the Phoenix because I had the BMS 12/200. I like that it's bluetooth and shows up on the Victron connect app.The heat control is good on the Blue Smart because it has a fan whereas my DC|DC converter gets smoking hot because it's passively cooled.Fully recommend.

If you leave your house batteries in your RV or Boat all winter and just leave it plugged in this is the charger for you. The storage mode is fantastic. My bank of 6 volt GC2 batteries are 7 years old. The deviation is lower than with other chargers, and the US Battery 2200’s performance seems undiminished from new. One thing I didn’t expect was that the batteries don’t seem to need to have water added hardly at all since going to ghis charger with the Storage function which keeps the voltage high (13.5v if I remember right) and essentially no amperage going into the battery.
I went for this charger as it has three outputs to allow charging of three 12v batteries at the same time. It has selectable 15 or 30A output, 14.3 or 14.7V depending on standard lead acid or AGM, EFB, EFB+. The real bonus was having Bluetooth to monitor the charge, set charging parameters via the app then send to the charger and view history. The charger can also be placed in supply mode for supporting your battery should you be doing things on your car with the ignition on (engine off). Obviously you would not try updating ecu software as 30A is not enough for that, but great little charger. I have been looking for various parts for my car and it has been difficult to find the right place. ML performance has made it easier. Excellent service from start to finish. Ordered my item on the weekend and arrived on Tuesday. Had a personalised note with my item which adds an extra touch. Prices are reasonable aswell. Would definitely use ML performance again. Thanks to everyone at ML performance
Well, I just wanted to give my opinion. I made the normal purchase like any other customer. A few days later I had a problem. I had to make an important trip. Contact ml performance by email to say that the contact service via email is spectacular. I never had a service like that with another store. well I told them that I needed the super urgent material. and well after a great job of coordination and good work from ml performance I received the material and everything went perfect. In general I recommend ml performance and I hope to work with them again in future purchases. thank you
If you have the bmw m235i you know how fantastic it is! But if I had one complaint it would be the car doesn't sound as fast as it goes. So I found ML Performances and looked into this rear box delete. It sounds amazing! It's a must have product! The quality of the pipe work and welding is unmatched, It fits well also. Depending on your preference the tips provided are fine for the price but the ends of the tips where not rolled and where clean cut.. meaning they where pretty sharp so amending this is important if you dont want to cut yourself when washing the car. Also be aware the sound is very cool but you may come across a little bit of drone.. its expected but two ways to fix this is by when at low speeds just easing off the throttle a little more than you ... And when in sport mode (the pops are like gun shots) it's best to remove the exhaust audio fuse as it causes drone. Ps its unlikely to pass an mot, best to know your mot garage well or keep the old silencer and swap it back over for test.
Dealing with Marshall and the team was an absolute pleasure. Rarely do you find businesses with such integrity.I purchased four items (some very fragile) and had them delivered to Australia in less than two weeks. Two items were showing very minor defects that I was not completely satisfied with. I contacted ML Performance via email and Marshall went above and beyond to exchange the items at their cost no questions asked. He then took the trouble to follow up and ensure that I was completely satisfied with my overall purchase.Rest assured that you can purchase from ML Performance with complete confidence. My rating.Communication: 5 starsProducts: 5 starsEase of exchange: 5 starsBusiness Ethics: 6 stars
My IP22 charger has completed one charging cycle of a 200 Ah LiFePo4 battery with no functional issues. I monitored the charging cyle using the VictronConnect app on my iPhone. Seeing the exact charging voltage and current during the charging process is informative as a supplement to the basic LED light information on the IP22 itself. I opted not to change the charging parameters from the default LiFePo4 settings, although I did review the ‘Advanced’ then ‘Expert' parameters. (Note: As soon the VictronConnect app connected to the new IP22 it insisted on installing a firmware update to v3.42 while reporting the current firmware version as “none”).I was mildly surprised that the VictronConnect app requires continual Bluetooth contact with the IP22 in order to ... MoreMy IP22 charger has completed one charging cycle of a 200 Ah LiFePo4 battery with no functional issues. I monitored the charging cyle using the VictronConnect app on my iPhone. I opted not to change the charging parameters from the default LiFePo4 settings, although I did review the ‘Advanced’ then ‘Expert' parameters. (Note: As soon the VictronConnect app connected to the new IP22 it insisted on installing a firmware update to v3.42 while reporting the current firmware version as “none”).I was mildly surprised that the VictronConnect app requires continual Bluetooth contact with the IP22 in order to display any information; it does not appear to store information from the last contact to display on its pages to make it easier to record that data at a distance from the IP22. I tried using the built-in option to send the “ChargeCycleHistory” to my computer, but the file I received only had column headers without the data for the charge cycle even though the VictronConnect app shows a completed charge cycle on the screen. I don’t know whether this is due to my error, a poor understanding of the user interface, or an actual flaw in the VictronConnect app at this time. (I gave the IP22 five stars with the expectation that I’ll figure out the history file transmission issue.)To complete the electrical connection from the IP22 to the batteries I am charging I constructed a charging harness using two 5’ segments of 6 AWG wire and 5/16” crimped lugs sealed with 1/2” 3:1 adhesive shrink wrap. I trimmed/stripped insulation from the other ends of the 6 AWG wires to insert them into the IP22’s screw-clamp terminals. Although it was extra work/cost to build a charging harness compared to battery chargers with pre-attached clamps, the high charging current (30A) of the IP22 30A model would heat up the typical thin cables and clamps provided with lower current chargers for temporary connections. A permanent installation of the IP22 wouldn’t work well with clamp-on connections. The IP22 30A 12VDC charger runs fairly warm/hot to the touch while charging at 30A; the built-in fan kicked in as an aid to cooling it. If I were mounting the charger in a permanent location I would take the heat into consideration with respect to airflow and the material I mounted the charger to/had surrounding it. I place the charger in a location that won’t be affected by its heat while using it as a portable charging device.I did not try out the half-power “nighttime” charge setting as I’m not charging batteries in a location where what little noise the charger makes is an issue. If I were going to be sleeping next to it I might use that option.
