I always leave reviews because reviews are a huge factor for me personally when deciding to purchase a product, however not all reviews are honest, unfortunately, so I try to leave a review that is honest, even if it's not a good review.I have been taking this VP unflavored collagen peptides for about two and a half months, maybe three, and I actually can tell a difference. My hair is showing new growth, and my nails are growing faster and thicker. I am starting to notice my skin is super soft, and I swear a couple of fine lines have diminished as well (I am JUST starting to get very fine lines around my eyes). I have also noticed that when I bend my knees I do not hear the slight 'popping' sound every single time anymore. I started noticing these changes recently ... I have also noticed that when I bend my knees I do not hear the slight 'popping' sound every single time anymore. I started noticing these changes recently so give it some time. It may take you more than one jug of this to see results, so don't look at getting results overnight or even within a week or two (except for possibly the nail growth which I noticed within approx. 2 weeks!!). I put 2 full scoops in my coffee every morning, it dissolves quickly and has absolutely no taste. I put creamer in my coffee so for those of you drinking it black, I can't comment on no taste. I just started taking the Beauty Gummies as well, I am on my first bottle (2 per day, sometimes 4) but I haven't been taking the gummies with the powder long enough to know if they gummies are making a difference. I will review those after a while of taking them. I would definitely recommend at least trying this powder though, but again recommend giving it time before you make assumptions on whether or not it works. I hope this was helpful.

3 months ago I suffered a horrible injury to my lower leg. Similar to a 3rd degree burn in damage, without the burn. Treatment consists of continuous wrapping, compression and time-waiting for new tissue to regenerate. 2 months ago I started taking the Original Collagen Peptides, hoping maybe that would help. Help is an understatement. My healing has exceeded all expectations. My wound care nurses say that I should be healed up in 2-3 weeks, rather than the 3-4 more months originally estimated! Since I'm post menopausal as well, I'd noticed my hair had thinned considerably, and was dull and lifeless. In the 2 months of daily use my hair has thickened up and is so shiny. A lot less hair in my hairbrush, too! Fine lines have plumped up and my nails are getting much ... More3 months ago I suffered a horrible injury to my lower leg. The long, painful (and expensive!) healing process has been aided by the couple of scoops of collagen powder I add to my morning coffee. I literally see the results every time the bandages are changed, it's just amazing. Thank you so much for providing a natural supplement that has helped to improve not only my physical health but my emotional well being. 3 months of 2/week therapy and 24 hrs a day bandaging is not easy, so being able to cut my healing time in half-simply incredible. I tell everyone how amazing this product is, and you've now got a customer for life.

I've recently transitioned to a keto diet and feel great. I've heard a lot of good things about collagen and was recommended this brand, so I just grabbed a 20oz from Target.I'm sure I'll get the amazing benefits of the collagen but I feel like I need to address 2 issues I've ran into that left me rather disappointed.1- I thought I was getting the tub with Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin C but upon closer inspection, the tub I purchased did not include these. I take responsibility as I was excited and didn't check at the store but only until I returned home. Feels like I wasted $$$ when I was hoping for the additional ingredients, as the benefits for those are great.2- The no scoop thing is frustrating. Feels like I wasted $$$ when I was hoping for the additional ingredients, as the benefits for those are great.2- The no scoop thing is frustrating. Every powdered supplement I've ever taken has had a scoop to make getting my servings in much simpler/easier/quicker, especially when you're new to a new supplement. I've read the reasoning behind this (sustainability) and it's a little laughable to mention cutting out the plastic of the scoop, when the entire tub is made of plastic....? Surely an alternative could have been come up with, rather than disposing of the useful tool that is generally expected with this product.. As the company, you can do whatever you'd like, for whatever reason - it's your company/product.. and as a consumer, I can spend my money on a product that meets my expectations. I'm excited for the benefits I'll receive by supplementing collagen but will definitely try a different brand when this tub is empty.

Overall this collagen is a good one. I've been using this brand for a little over a year. Over the past 3 years I've tried several different brands and collagen types in search for the one that fits all my needs. Just for reference I'm 52 yrs old, in good health and weight and regularly workout at the gym. I am wanting a collagen that addresses anti aging skin benefits, supports healthy joints and bones as well as healthy hair and nails. Due to hereditary traits, I already have severe arthritic hands. Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides works pretty well for the arthritis in my hands comparatively to other brands but as a downside, I feel like my skin is somewhat dry and non hydrated even though Vital Proteins contains hyaluronic acid. So I recently strayed for a couple of months to a competitive brand that also has hyaluronic acid. (FYI- Not many brands contain hyaluronic acid). This other brand also contained 5 types of collagen vs. Vital Proteins containing only 2 types. The other brand most definitely made my skin feel softer and more hydrated- I'm thinking because it had the added marine collagen in it, but it did not help with my aching arthritic hands at all. My hands ached so much that I ultimately came back to Vital Proteins. With that said, I wish Vital would come up with a collagen blend that fits all of my needs. My summary of Vital Proteins- Pros: Dissolves completely into hot beverages, has no taste, helps with arthritic hands and has the added Hyaluronic Acid, but I wonder if it's doing anything as it lacks skin hydration effects. Cons: Skin feels and looks dry
I take vital proteins and started 3 months ago because I lost hands full of hair daily. I started with 1scoop for a week then went for 2 scoops because I have a sensitive stomach. I also added biotin gummies. After a couple of weeks my hair stopped falling out I could shower and not have to cry because the drain was not full of hair. Then I stopped getting my hair colored because I was so afraid so with grey roots all over I started getting baby fuzz and I waited 3 months and my hair was feeling better than before I went and got my hair colored and cut and it looks amazing. I will never stop taking vital proteins. P.S. my face is as soft as a babies bottom at age 57. This is so nice because I am disabled and take 15 medications a day plus 5 prns so you can imagine ... This product takes awhile to show much of any benefits but I find it so easy to stock with it. I'm terrible about remembering daily vitamins but keep my tub of Vital Proteins beside my coffee pot. I always start my day with coffee so it's easy to scoop out my collagen and dump it in my coffee every morning. I don't really notice any taste at all and I drink my coffee black with zero sweeteners or creamer to mask any taste! I find that it's best to scoop it into my coffee and allow it to all fully sink into the coffee on it's own. If you stir it before then, it could cake to the side of your spoon/stir. I do a quick stir after it sinks and enjoy my coffee as if it t weren't even there. I started Vital Proteins beginning of March 2021. Joint pain is starting to become ... I do a quick stir after it sinks and enjoy my coffee as if it t weren't even there. I started Vital Proteins beginning of March 2021. Joint pain is starting to become noticably less and some of the fine lines (crow's feet and smile lines) have diminished some. I haven't noticed a difference in hair or nails but that is not something you'd likely see at 4 months. I believe that if I stick with this product, I will see those benefits. This isn't a quick fix. It's a supplement for some of the things we naturally start to lose as we age. My only nit-picks would be asking the company to consider sending free samples (or offering the option of a free travel packets of the product the preferred product that we purchased with EVERY order.... Not just the first few orders). Also, please stop placing the measuring cup in the canister. Digging for it is not fun. It makes you realize how incredibly sticky the powder is when it gets on your hands and mixes with any moisture. An easy solution would be to adhere it with tape/gummy glue to the top or side of the outer side of the container. Overall, I think this product is legit if you're willing to stick with it to see progress.
I started using the collagen peptides because all of my 3 best friends had been using it and seeing a difference in their hair, even on their eyebrows, they had plucked their eyebrows hard in the 90’s. I was hoping to see a difference in my brittle nails and hopefully my hair. I used a whole bottle and never saw a difference. I told my friends I was giving it up. BUT then I went to see my hair stylist and my doctor two days a part and they both immediately asked me what I had done to my hair to make it look so shiny and thick! I told them the only different thing I’d been doing was using these collagen peptides and they told me to keep it up. Totally amazing. So my advice, take photos of yourself before trying the peptides and after. Because this does work, just ... I have suffered with constant back pain since 2011 due to arthritis and a fall. I was tired of taking pain meds, so after diligent research and great reviews, I decided to give it a try. I add it to my coffee each morning. After the 4th day, I noticed I was walking straight up instead of my usual leaning forward. I couldn't believe that only after 4 days, most of my pain had subsided. By two weeks, I was completely pain free. I felt so good! Sleeping without tossing and turning every half hour and able to get up without feeling stiff was amazing! I felt so good I hurt my back trying to do a back-bend lol. At that time, I finished my first container and decided to try Orgain Peptides. After a few days, my back pain begin to increase. I wasn't sure if it was do to my ... I wasn't sure if it was do to my back-bend attempt or switching peptides. I continued with the Orgain for two more days and realized it had to be the switch in products. I can say, the Orgain strengthened my nails. I switched back to Vital Proteins and withing the 3rd day, I have very little pain. I decided to take 1.5 scoops of the vital proteins and a half scoop of Orgain in hopes that my nails would continue to grow. I feel like my joints have been oiled.
