Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen Original Matcha 10.5 oz

I love making a quick smoothie that is filled with good, clean protein and ingredients I can actually read and pronounce. It’s hard to find a protein that not only tastes good but has all the nutrients and vitamins I need to tackle the day. This product is perfect for me and my fast-paced life. As a beauty-conscious woman, I love it has the collagen I need to keep my hair, nails, and bones strong and healthy. It also has caffeine which is a good substitute to coffee and gives you that energy to keep going. Overall, I enjoy using this product. It has everything I need and I especially love the matcha flavor.

I. Love. Vital. Proteins. Original. Matcha. It’s a pantry staple for me along with their lemon and chocolate flavor. Hands down my favorite way to get extra protein in throughout the day. I make matcha lattes in the morning and enjoy the lemon in the evenings (I drink it hot like a tea). Now I just need Vital Proteins to come out with a chai flavor and I’ll be set. 😄

!! It's not real matcha. STEER CLEAR.

Let me get this straight off the bat: I know a great deal about matcha, it's been a part of my daily life for years. I know what REAL ceremonial grade Japanese matcha is, how it tastes and looks. The matcha used in this powder isn't it. How do I know? Because real matcha doesn't dissolve. And unfortunately, when making my drink with this powder, there was no sign of any remains floating within the drink or any residue left at the bottom of the cup. It's disappointing as this powder is extortionate for the small amount you get, and yet they can't even stretch to using true matcha. I've been a regular purchaser of the original Vital Proteins Collagen Powder for a while now, but this has irrevocably damaged my trust in them as a retailer. Enjoy this matcha

I wish this had a stronger matcha taste. Overall, it's tasty and enjoy drinking both hot and cold. My only gripe is the poor packaging when shipping. My first canister came destroyed from the envelope was in. Customer support was very kind and replaced the damaged canister.

Incredible flavor - melts in your mouth!!

I wish I could give this 17 stars honestly. I found a box of the individual servings somewhere randomly and thought I would give it a try because I love matcha lattes. I have never looked back. It’s so crazy delicious, the matcha flavor is strong but super smooth. Not only do I enjoy the flavor immensely, but with the added protein, I now get to make matcha lattes after I do a workout?? How else is that possible unless you use protein collagen? I also use the regular collagen protein now and add it to literally everything - soup, coffee, smoothies, post workout recovery drinks, etc. 17/5 stars, I couldn’t recommend these products more.

Sooo I pretty much drink this in matcha latte form every single morning and it brings me great joy! I add one scoop of this mix (scooper is included in the bottle) to some hot water, whisk it up (no sifting needed) and add frothed almond milk. Needless to say, its divine, and I swear its made my hair thicker/longer and skin more glowy. It really could all be in my head... but I do enjoy this greatly, and I have been getting more compliments on both my hair and skin. I cant say that this is the best matcha Ive had... it doesnt have that high grade taste of refined matcha powder (this products powder is a duller green, an indicator of lower grade/lesser quality matcha). However, it tastes fine in latte form, especially since there is coconut water powder in the ingredients, giving it a more robust taste.That said, it smells kind of funky when you open the container sort of reminiscent of protein powder. Also, at ~$40/pop its quite pricey... but as a daily matcha latte drinker I rationalize the cost as being more wallet- and health-friendly than daily Starbucks visits. And plus collagen! Its amazeballs. If you like matcha lattes as much as I do, I highly, highly recommend this product. I have yet to try their new matcha collagen latte powder in their shop, but its certainly next on my list! Keep posted~

Only matcha I will drink

This is the best matcha ever. I drink it every morning. I would rate this 5 stars for just the matcha taste but and it has collagen!!! Love love love. Also a little tip, I found when mixing the powder in a cold drink it kinda turns to this sticky goo. What I do is I put a little bit of water heated up and add the scoop and mix then add your ice and cold liquid of choice!!!!

Slightly wasted packaging

Okay, so I really like this mix! I mix it with hot water and honey with my milk frother and I think it’s lovely! I’ve also had it chilled in the fridge which I also really like. It gives me energy and helps me reach my protein goals a bit easier, the only qualm I have is that the container is pretty small and inside of it is less than half full. I’m pretty sure I didn’t get a defective one and it was properly sealed, so I just wish that they used an even smaller container so they weren’t wasting packaging and/ or they sold a larger size that was more than 21 servings. Overall I like the product a lot, just not the packaging!

Ive been trying matcha products Ive found on and mixing it with just basic collagen peptides. Always had a weird taste. I found this one and thought was a great product cause is already mixed in. Amazing matcha quality. Definitely worth the price, just the matcha alone with this quality is expensive, so definitely worth the price. The color says It all (bright green, not brownish green) Tastes beyond perfect. Do not just drink with water or might not taste as good. I add to it some hot water, cashew milk and sometimes some type of sweetener. Taking it in an empty stomach will give better absorption. It also feels very comforting first thing in the morning.

Very Short Expiration Date

I used to buy this item in stores but I wanted to take advantage of the subscription and discount that is associated with it and I am very disappointed in the experience. I ordered two containers that had a max 3-month expiration date from the date I received my order. My in-store purchases of this item had significantly longer expiration dates, ex. up to one year or more. I use other vital proteins products meaning that I will not be using the matcha collagen daily but I will be switching between the other products. Doing so, these two containers would expire before I got to finish them. This is unacceptable to give customers such short-dated products. I reached out the customer service multiple times with no response. Do not buy this product from them on the website.
