The glass container is quite heavy, making feel like a very expensive product to have. I love they have incorporated a refillable tub, so that you can keep the glass vessel and just put in a new tub of product.The consistency of the cream is definitely on the thicker side, but that is to be expected any sort of intensive cream. The cream is really rich and thick and it contains oils and shea butter.On application, the cream has a slight scent that disappeared quite soon after. The cream was thick and rich and I only needed a small amount. Warming it up in my fingers, it smoothed on quite well, however it took a really long time to absorb into my sometimes oily skin. It felt thick and heavy and a little suffocating to me. I'm not sure if it was a reaction to the product, or if it was the actives in the product just increasing skin turnover.I am not going to completely dissmiss this product, I think I will test it out in winter, when my skin tends to lean a little more on the normal/dry side.The cream comes in a heavy glass jar with refillable insert, I'm not sure if you can buy the inserts though.I wouldn't rave about this cream to my friends and family, but the ingredient composition in this product has me intrigued enough that I would tell my skincare savy friends about it and maybe my friends with drier skin types.
